We stayed like that for a little while before I got a notification from my phone. It was Jin's ringtone so I grabbed my phone, staying in the same position with Jungkook, and looked at the text.

sighed and put my phone down. "What's up?" Jungkook whispered to me as we were still trying to avoid speaking with the others. "My friends got caught up with something and can't come anymore."

"Ah okay." He replied. After another few moments he spoke again. "Wanna get out of here? It's kinda awkward hiding from them when they are right there." He laughed quietly as he pointed to them through the menu. I laughed a little and nodded my head before sniffling the last few of my tears away. We both sat up at the same time and the other boys looked at us slightly worried and confused at the same time. "Jungkook and I are going to hang out for a while. I will be home later." I said to Jimin before climbing out of the booth with my things.

Jungkook followed and we left the cafe together, silently beginning to walk to the park nearby. The walk there was silent, not an awkward silence though. It was comfortable. Oddly enough even though we had only just met.

Once we had made it to the park, we both sat on a bench which was shaded by a large tree and secluded in a little corner. We sat quietly for for a little while until Jungkook broke the silence. "If you don't mind me asking... what happened with you and your boyfriend?" He asked, looking at me with soft eyes. "I thought Jimin made that quite obvious in the cafe." I scoffed and Jungkook laughed a little.

"Well if you want to hear it in a quieter and more clear voice, my boyfriend... he err... cheated on me. We have been going out for around 4 months now and we hadn't... yaknow. Done the dirty. I wasn't ready, and I'm still not. He seemed understanding at first but recently he's been bringing it up a lot more and getting a bit more touchy even when I've told him to stop. I guess he got tired of waiting because a week ago now, I went to his place to surprise him since he had been busy lately. Apparently. When I walked in I saw him in bed with another man. I've been avoiding any contact with him since..." I explained. Suddenly, I felt a warm hand placed upon my cold one, squeezing it tightly.

As I looked up to him I saw his eyes full of pity. "Im sorry Tae. He must be a dumbass to do something like that to you." He said which only made me laugh. "Thanks but it only makes me think, maybe I was the one that caused it? Maybe it's my fault for being so slow." "No." He suddenly said, making me look to him from the sudden interruption. "It's his fault. Although it's horrible to realise or think about, but if he couldn't wait for you then... He didn't love you enough."

Ouch. That stings like a bitch. "Sorry Tae... that was a bit--" "It's fine Jungkook. I'm glad someone's letting me know what's real for once rather than lying to not hurt me." I interrupt with a wide smile as I look over to him. I notice him already looking at me, causing me to blush subtly.

We stayed at that bench fo r hours talking about yourselves whilst then laughing about complete nonsense. We completely lost track of time until we had noticed the sun begin to set. Although I argued with him and said that I would be fine he insisted he walk me home to make sure that I got home safe. Once we had gotten to the door we stood there, quietly looking at eachother with me not knowing completely what to say.

Jungkook's POV:

As we stood there at his door, I noticed myself begin to admire his both feminine and masculine features. I noticed the way his brown hair fell on top of his forehead and grazing the top of his lashes. How he had to keep on flipping his hair out of his face hinting he needed a haircut. I had noticed it earlier but I loved how his eye were both slightly different from eachother, his imperfections looking perfect. I loved the little mole on the tip of his nose and how his lips stretched to form a box when he smiled and laughed.

It was then I realised that I was beginning to like him... more than in a friendly way.

"Hey, Taehyung.... can I have your phone number?" I asked whilst fiddling with my fingers.

"Sure, give me your phone." He replied instantly. I looked up to see that boxy smile I adored and couldn't resist but to smile back.

Once we exchanged numbers I hugged him and wished him a goodnight before leaving for my home. Once I got home I played on my bed content with the day I just had.

I began to close my eyes, feeling the loss get heavier as I began drifting off. That is, until I heard my phone vibrate next to me.
