Third person POV:

"What... what are we?"

Upon hearing Taehyung's question Jungkook shot his head up, turning it to see Taehyung looking down nervously and biting his lip. He let out a shaky breath before facing back forward, a look of slight confusion flustered on the raven haired boys face as he replays Taehyung's question in his head.

What were they?

What should he say?

How could he possibly answer that when even he doesn't know the answer himself?

After a few moments (a pretty damn long "few moments" in Taehyung's opinion) of Jungkook not replying, the younger let out a small and shaky breath. This time, it was his turn to look at the other boy, a small look of desperation in his face as he tries to study Jungkook's to find an answer. But damn this boy was so unreadable it actually pissed Taehyung off a bit.

"Jungkook...?"

The said boy finally snapped out of his nearly endless thinking from Taehyung speaking up. "Err... friends?" I wish we weren't. He replied as he turned to meet a small frown on the brunettes face.

Taehyung felt a small pang in his chest as Jungkook's reply. He felt stupid for it but he couldn't help it. The kisses must have just been from sexual urges, because of the position and atmosphere... right?

"H-hey! What's wrong?" He was quick to cup Taehyung's cheeks in hopes he'd get his cute, boxy smile in return. But he didn't.

"Taetae?" The younger just shook his head before raising his hands to hold Jungkook's, that were still placed delicately on his face.

"Nothings wrong I'm just being stupid. I just thought- never mind it's stupid. I don't even know if you're gay or not..." he said, mumbling the last sentence quietly so Jungkook wouldn't hear him.

"No, seriously Tae. What's wrong? I don't want you to feel upset anymore..." Especially not because of me. The younger resisted the urge to smile at what he said by biting his lip.

Taehyung slid his hands to Jungkook's wrists, separating his hands from his face to intertwine their fingers together.

"Okay Jungkook. I'm going to ask you a question and you don't have to answer me if you don't want to." The elder just nods, focusing on Taehyung's every word.

"Are you... maybe gay? Or something else? Or are you straight? Like, we haven't spoken much about you but it's just... we've kissed and stuff so it's really confusing for me. I'm sorry"

"Wait why are you apologising? You've done absolutely nothing wrong, I'm the one who's made you confused." Jungkook responded with a reassuring smile as he rubbed the back of Taehyung's hand with his thumb.

The younger hummed in response to what the raven haired boy said, but still nervous as to what Jungkook was going to say he was he was genuinely scared that Jungkook was just messing with him purely for some fun, but deep down he knew that he wasn't the kind of person to do that. Especially not after what he knows of Woo-bin.

"I'm gay. Very fricking gay that I'm actually surprised you had to question it Tae." He finally answered with his usual, soft chuckle, bunny teeth showing and all causing Taehyung's heart to race ever so slightly.

"Oh.. hehe." Taehyung said quietly with a nervous and somewhat nervous laugh at the end.

"Now it's my turn to ask a question." Jungkook said rather confidently, hiding how shit scared he was on the inside. The younger hummed in response as he grew confused. What did Jungkook have to ask him?

"Will you, Kim Taehyung, go out for dinner with me tonight?"

"L-like a date?" Jungkook nodded his head and Taehyung gave his big, boxy smile to Jungkook.

"I would love to go on a date with you Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung said happily as he released his hands from the elders, making Jungkook whine a bit from the loss of contact before wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck.

Jungkook instantly held onto the youngers small waist to pull him onto his lap, receiving a comforting hug from Taehyung, full of pure bliss.

Taehyung nuzzled his face into Jungkook's neck and ruffled his hands through his hair as his took in his scent with a huge grin on his face.

"I'm so very glad I met you Jungkook. You've made me happier in the past three days than I have felt in the whole 17 years of my life."

Jungkook tightened his grip around Taehyung. "I'm very happy I met you too Taebear."
