I'm Afraid ~Luke Hemmings FF~

Chapter 3

Two weeks have passed, and we have worked out every single detail of the party. Luke, Mikey, Ash and Cal get home today.

I look the the clock beside my bed, reading 10:30AM. Only 2 more hours to go. I sigh happily as I start to get ready. I need to look really presentable for the boys. Sure, I have a boyfriend but after not seeing these guys for almost a year, a girls gotta look nice.

I hop into the shower, blow dry my hair, curl it, moving on to my makeup.

I put on foundation, a little bit of concealer to cover my dark spots, and then move on to my eyes. My eye makeup is simple; gold eyeshadow with winged eyeliner. I also curl my eyelashes and apply a little bit of mascara. To complete the look I out in some red lipstick. Finally, I choose a cute outfit that consists of a pair of denim shorts, and a navy blue crop top with an anchor on it. Just as I slip on my shirt, as if on cue I get a call. I quickly glance at the time and what I see surprises me. The two hours have already passed! I answer the phone. "Hey! We're outside!" Auburn tells me. "Alright, be out in 5, bye!" I say excitedly. I grab my purse and run outside. We drive to the airport listening to a few happy songs to match our happy mood.

The the boy's flight doesn't land for about half an hour, and takes half an hour more to get the passengers off board. The boys finally walk through the doors, unaware that we would be here. Becca had texted Cal, acting like she was just wondering what time their flight was landing. We saw all four of their faces light up as they ran to us, each of them hugging each of us. Once we have all said hi, they get their bags and we head to the van. All of us just manage to fit in the van, along with all their bags. Once we drop the boys off, we immediately go grab our own cars to start setting up for he party. Auburn and Skylar go get the '18+ refreshments', as they called it, and the food. Becca and I go to her house to decorate the place. We hang up 'Welcome Home!' banners, and blow up a few balloons, throwing them on the floor. We had let a bunch of people know that the party was tonight, and we expected a lot of people to show up. Once Skylar and Auburn were back, we set up some shot glasses and put the alcohol on the table, then stashed the food in the fridge and pantries. We all headed back to our houses, but not before each of us texting one of the guy about the 'small hangout' we were throwing tonight.

To: Luke

"Hey, the girls and I are having a small get together at Auburn's tonight. Stop by?"

He replied seconds after I sent the text,

From: Luke

"Sure! See you then!"

The rest of the guys said yes too. Once that was over we all got a bit more dressed up for the party. I replaced my simple eye look with some black all around the eye, and again a winged eyeliner. I also contoured and highlighted slightly. My foundation and concealer was still set from earlier. After my makeup was done, I changed into a cute white dress with pink laced short sleeves. The dress went down to my mid-thigh, and was relatively simple. It was kind of like a low-collared t-shirt, with a flows skirt attached. It was my favourite dress, and showed off my curves. Once I was ready, I texted Travis to ask him if he was coming. He let me know he was, and that he would pick me up at 7:30.

It was already 7, and that half an hour rolled by quickly. Before I knew it, I was walking into a house with loud music playing.
