"My heart is gold, my hands are cold." That's the saying right? Well, I guess my heart is dirt. My hands were warm, blood warm. Makes sense, as there was blood covering them. No, not mine. His. His blood was all over my body. In my hair, stained into my white dress, no longer white. They say I shouldn't have done what I did, but I didn't care. He deserved it, he cheated on me, with her. Her, of all people, her. Maybe this time, they'll learn. He is just like the others.
"Karma's got you." I whispered in his ear, knowing he couldn't hear me now. He couldn't hear anyone. His blood grew cold, his body stone cold. I smirked, I couldn't help it. It was a job well done. The knife was still in his body, and as I pulled it out, it made a hiss noise. I frowned. The only way it could make that noise is if their was metal in his body. Or underneath. I kicked his body over onto its side. A badge. A police badge. That's what made the noise. And there's was a red light flashing on it. A panic button. I thought. I then realized that means the police are coming. Just as I realized that, police sirens filled the air and people came rushing in, wearing bullet proof vests. I still had the knife in my hand.
"Drop the knife, Lillith!" One of them said. She had blonde hair pulled into a ponytail. A pretty girl, I must say. Just the type the others would date. She had a gun on her hand. I dropped the knife. I wasn't going to die just because I killed the man. She stepped towards me and put handcuffs on me. I didn't resist, I knew better. They took me to a police cruiser and put me in the back. I peered out the window and met eyes with a man. He was beautiful, he big brown eyes and long hair that matched it. He was lanky, thin, probably not someone who trained with the others. He stared at me, no, examined me, from where he stood. Then the cruiser started to pull away and he looked away. Little did I know, that that guy would soon sit across from me at a table, thinking I was mentally unstable. That guy's name was Dr.Spencer Reid.
