In the morning I got ready and put on a blue oversized T-shirt with black jeans.
Breakfast was awkward between me and Arden who kept staring at me throughout breakfast .
I of course ignored it but then he mentioned our encounter last night .
Declan seemed shocked at my actions.He turned to me and I just shrugged.
"It wasn't anything worth mentioning , this dic-I mean your cousin scared the shit out of me last night and that's all." I said nonchalantly.
Declan furrowed his eyebrows and put his arm around my shoulder pulling me close.
Arden laughed obnoxiously "Chill out Dec , no one wants your ugly ass beloved."
Declan and I both rolled our eyes "As long as it stays that way you won't get your ass kicked."
Declan and Arden continued talking throughout breakfast about "guy stuff" so I excused my self and made my way to this big garden they had .
I sat on the bench and soaked in the relaxing environment I was in. Roses, Tulips, Sunflowers and Orchids stood out beautifully because of their petals that held their own unique vibrant colors .
"Beautiful aren't they ?"
I turned around and seen a tall woman maybe around 6'2. She had on beige cargo pants and a green T-shirt.
"Yeah I would love to meet the person who planted all of this." I glanced at the flowers quickly.
"Well it must be your lucky day because your talking to her. The names Louis but everyone calls me Lou." She held out her large hand and I politely shook it.
"Nice to meet you Lou, I really love what you did out here maybe some day you can teach me how to garden ?" I asked
"I most certainly will, I don't know when I'll be available but if you ever see me don't ever be afraid to remind me. If you'll excuse me ." She walked past me and started weeding some plants.
I walked back inside the house and found Arden sitting on a sofa scrolling through his phone. I sat next to him and snatched the phone out his hands.
"Eww gross why are you looking at nude photos ?" I shivered in disgust.
"I can't help it if girls just willingly send them to me." He smirked and leaned over to get his phone back.
I leaned back further and and continued scrolling. The man had all types of girls in his dms.
I felt him leaning towards me and I instinctively leaned back the rest of the way until I was laying in the couch.
He placed his warm hand on my bicep and stared at me.
His emerald green eyes had turned even darker and they held an unfamiliar look in them; like he was staring at a juicy t-bone steak or something and he was breathing harder.
I held my breath and stared back at him.
"Hey Sasha I was wondering- what the hell are you guys doing?"
I glanced over the couch and seen Declan holding a bouquet of flowers.
Arden snatched the phone from my hands and got off the couch." It's nothing bro , I'll leave you two alone." He left .
Declan sat next to me and held out the flowers." I just wanted to give you these and ask you out on a date."
I grabbed the flowers and smiled when I smelt their sweeet fragrance ." Sure I'd love too when is it?"
"Later on tonight so I'll leave you to get dolled up the reservation is at 7 ". He winked smiling at me..
I gave him a quick peck leaving him shocked since it's technically our first kiss. "Perfect " ________________________________Happy New Years guys , sorry for the delay of this update I've been sad and occupied with things lately. I still work on writing chapters I just don't publish them which is weird I know 😭. I hope you guys have a blessed 2019 and happy birthdays to the January babies !!
