"Don't leaveee.." Perrie whined. Michael was headed back to LA while Perrie went on a short press tour. Though they would be back together in less than a month for Christmas she still didn't want him to go. He moved over her before his arms wound around her.
"You know I have to Pez. I need to get everything packed and shipped so that I can be here permanently." She just groaned as her arms tightened around his neck. Thankfully he didn't have to leave for another hour because he knew there was no way she was letting him go. "I'm going to miss you too love." He stated softly. She simply sighed her face burying into his neck. "If only you could come with me." She thought about it for a moment before she shook her head. "It was worth a try."
"Just don't take too long." He nodded before he moved them both to their sides to keep from crushing her. It was his turn to bury his face into her neck. "Leigh and I are driving you to the airport though." He nodded as his arms tightened around her. Though it was to the verge of him crushing her she didn't mind. He would never hurt her, he was her big teddy bear.
When Leigh walked through the door an hour later they both sighed. They knew what she meant. She moved to cuddle on the opposite side of Perrie before she spoke.
"Oh relax you two it will only be a month." She said softly as she cuddled into the pair. Perrie nodded while Michael kissed the base of her neck. "Come on. Let's go so you don't miss your flight Mike." He groaned. Leigh knew he hated when she called him Mike but it never stopped her.
A month later Michael was finally back in London. He had arrived Christmas Eve at around eleven in the evening. His once short trip took longer when everything went crazy because of the holiday. He however never had told Perrie when he was coming opting for surprising her on her favorite holiday. He went to grab his white fluff of a dog before he finally started off towards the flat. He still had to wrap all of his presents so he knew he would be up most of the night.
As he entered the flat he heard nails clicking on the floor. He grabbed Hatchi and Mika before taking them into the room where the blonde was sleeping. She was clutching his pillow as he placed the dogs next to her. As Hatchi curled by her stomach Mika laid along the blondes back. Michael kissed the top of her head gently before he closed the door behind him as he left. He grabbed her wrapping paper and boxes along with anything else he would need to wrap the presents he had brought.
Michael slowly wrapped gifts as he got more and more tired. By the time he finished wrapping Perries presents he was only halfway through the wrapping. It was nearing four in the morning. His wrapping got sloppier and sloppier as his eyes and hands began to fail him. By the time he finished it was almost seven in the morning. He always went big for Christmas and wouldn't forget anyone even if it meant going out on Christmas Eve to get someone a present. As he melted into the couch he was instantly asleep.
Perrie was woken up by two dogs bouncing on her. When her eyes landed upon the white dog in front of her she bolted up.
Her feet hit the floor before she even knew what she was doing. Her body was on Michaels in mere seconds. His arms wound around her in his sleep. It took for her lips to be on his before he finally became coherent.
"Please don't leave again." She said before her face buried into the pillow that was now under their heads. As a blanket was sloppily placed over them by Michael she spoke again. "How many presents did you bring?"
"Enough." He mumbled sleepily.
"How long were you up baba?" She asked as her back was pulled into him.
"I may have fallen asleep ten minutes ago." She turned to look at him before she shook her head as his face buried into her shoulder. "Let me sleep for an hour I'll be fine." He said as his arms tightened around her.
"Alright then we both have to get ready because everyone will be here in an hour and a half or so." He nodded lazily before she felt him go limp his breathing steady and even. She set an alarm before her eyes shut and she relaxed back into him.
Perrie was awoken by Debbie gently shaking her. The older woman had turned off the alarm to allow the pair to sleep a little longer. She woke them up at the last possible moment. Michael dragged himself up once Perrie finally got him up. As they went to change into the pajamas Debbie had brought them she was able to see how tired he truly was.
"Baba you can sleep more. No one will care." He shook his head before he pulled her into him.
"I'm fine. I just need some caffeine and a lot of it." She laughed lightly before she tiptoed to kiss his lips. "Merry Christmas Pezza."
"You're the best present I could have asked for. Happy Christmas Love."
