"Hi mam how are you?" Perrie asked as she put the phone on speaker. Her hand were shaking as her mother answered.

"I'm well love. I just called to tell you both Happy Christmas and I love you both." They could just about hear Debbies smile. It was when the pair switched the call to FaceTime that she became confused. As their faces were flashed across the older woman's screen the smiles on their faces grew.

"Mam..." Perrie started as her smile grew. "We're getting married." Debbies mouth dropped as tears began to flow down her face. It was then that the pair heard bags drop in the doorway. Seconds later a screaming Ellie tackled the two.

"Well let me see the ring petal." Debbie finally said once they all composed themselves. Her hand appeared in the picture as Michaels cheeks turned slightly red. As the girls were fawning over the ring his head moved to rest against her shoulder. He never expected her to say yes and he needed a moment to take it all in. When her lips met his cheek he was brought back to reality. He hadn't even realized she had hung up on Debbie.

"I have an idea." They both looked at Ellie who had a smile on her face. "Well you two at least need a photo to let everyone know." They nodded encouraging her to continue. "You two kiss and Perrie you stick your hand out. I'll focus on the ring with the camera while having you two and the Christmas tree blurry. It will look amazing." Michael just shook his head while Perrie was all for it. As they moved into the position Ellie snapped multiple photos before she sent them all to Perrie who ultimately had the final decision.

"Baba let's go to bed." Michael said once Ellie had left and closed to door to the pairs flat. As she scanned his body she could see how tired he was. His eyes were barely staying open his words slow with sleep coating his accent. As her hands extended towards him he took them quickly before he stood and she practically dragged him towards the bed.

"Can I post it?" He started to laugh as his shirt and sweatshirt were slipped over his head. She was quick to grab the sweatshirt and slip it over her cold frame his warmth still radiating through the fabric.

"Pez you don't have to ask. I mean I wouldn't have given you the ring if I didn't want to tell the world how much I love you." He didn't even finish before she had posted the picture with no caption to her Instagram.

"I love you way too much

"I love you way too much." She stated before she moved towards the bed where he had laid down mere seconds ago. His arms wound around her gently as he turned her onto her back his body gently  resting half on top of her.

"I love you more." He said quietly as his face nuzzled into her neck. As their two dogs cuddled into them they both smiled. "I missed you Pezza." He said softly. She gently kissed his forehead.

"I missed you more baba." He shook his head at her words but didn't fight it knowing it wasn't worth it. "I hope you know I'm never letting you leave alone again." He chuckled lightly.

"That's fine love." He said before his phone began to ring. "I forgot to tell my mom." He said his eyes going wide as he was now completely awake. When he noticed it was a FaceTime he moved so he was sitting up before Perrie followed. As Michaels arms wrapped around her back he answered the call. "Hi mom, Merry Christmas." He said sheepishly before he noticed the tears running down her face.

"You're my baby and you couldn't even call me." His face turned bright red.

"I'm sorry mom. I forgot I'm just really tired today." He said quietly before she nodded.

"It's alright love. Just never let it happen again." He nodded as Perrie laughed at the exchange. "Now let me see the ring." The blonde smiled as she showed her finger to his mother as the smile grew on both of their faces. "Oh Michael it's perfect. Did you have any help picking it out?" He shook his head causing both girls mouths to drop. "Gosh I taught you well. Now I won't keep you both up any longer. Good night you both talk soon." They both nodded before the call was dropped.

"You had no help what so ever?" He shook his head.

"I thought you would want something small and delicate when I saw it I couldn't stop thinking about it. The only thing I asked Ellie about was your ring size but she had no idea why I asked."  Her lips connected with his the second he stopped talking. As their lips danced for the first time that day they ignored all the texts until it got too much to ignore. They pulled away but stayed close her nose brushing against his as their lips barely touched. "I love you."

"I love you too Michael." She said softly before her hands moved to cup his face. She carefully moved into his lap. "You're way too perfect for me." She stated before her lips met his preventing any protest. They broke away when they both were breathless. As she cuddled into his chest he slid down the bed. When his back was against the mattress he buried his head into the pillow.

"God I'm never leaving again." Perrie laughed lightly before she kissed his chest.

"Good."
