Good Things Come To Those Who Wait?!

Lauren did her usual natural makeup, soft curls, and put on her outfit. Lauren just wanted to feel comfortable, because she didn't have the best sleep last night. Lauren put on black leggings, a grey Obey tank top, with her red Bethany Mota flannel over top, and of course her white converse! She was dreading coming to school today, but she didn't want her parents asking questions about her face. Lauren had to put a lot of concealer on to cover up her bumps and bruises.

Once at school, Lauren practically jogged to her Social class trying to avoid all the glances of other students as she passed by. She quickly found a spot in the middle near the door and sat down. avoiding all her classmates whispers, Lauren opened her books, and took her phone out to check her Twitter.

Lauren decided to check Cameron's account quickly.

"@camerondallas: So excited to announce the winner of this contest to hang with me in Cali, later this afternoon!!☺️" Lauren was ecstatic! She has been in love with Magcon boys and Cameron Dallas since she was 13. Even if she didn't win, the thought of meeting him one day was hopeful for Lauren.

Lauren was zoned out through Social,Math, and lunch. All she had to get through was Home Ec. and Science.

Finally it was the end of the day. Lauren walked home, put her bag down. She changed into sweats a tee shirt, and put her hair up into a messy bun. She put on Shawn Mendes Ep Album and sang along, and danced to it. I mean Shawn Mendes helps homework go by way faster!!

Lauren's phone was ringing constantly! Her notifications and timeline were filled. Lauren clicked on Cameron's profile "@camerondallas five minutes until we announce the beautiful winner!" Lauren was feeling very anxious so she decided to text her sister to go workout together. Lauren quickly went to the gym, turning her phone off. She was distracted, but she wouldn't win!

Lauren went inside the gym and went on the treadmill.

An hour or so later, Lauren walked home and ate dinner with her parents. but she couldn't check her phone. of course no phones at the table! ugh!

Lauren quickly scarfed down her food and ran up to her bedroom. this was the moment she was waiting for. her happiness depended on this. if she didn't win, Lauren probably wasn't going to last.

*** TEN MINUTES LATER***

M: Marianna L: Lauren

L: "I can't believe this is happening!! I'll screenshot the email they sent me for you so I have proof!" yelled Lauren. M: "I'm so happy for you! Let's go to the mall after school tomorrow so you can get new clothes to go to Cali!!" screamed Marianna. L: "Shit I forgot about my parents! what if they don't let me go?!" M: "it will be fine, talk to them in the morning." L: "Okay, thank you, we will talk at school tomorrow, bye!" and they both hung up.

"Now how am I going to break this to my parents that I'm going to be meeting one of my idols next week?!" thought Lauren, as she fell asleep dreaming about the handsome, and sexy Cameron Dallas.
