It's your birthday tomorrow, and your coming home from a busy day at work. Usually your super excited for your birthday, but this year, that's not the case. You don't really know why, but you think it's because last year you still lived with your parents, and with them they really made you look forward to the day, they kept on reminding you that it was //almost// your birthday, that you've got a huge special day to look forward to, but this year you moved into an apartment with your boyfriend Felix, and it seems to you that he has forgotten, you still love him the same, you just feel a little sad. When you get to your home you open the door and greet Felix, who is on the couch on his laptop, scrolling down his twitter. He looks up and smiles, you go down to his level and peck his lips, getting back up.
"Move hun" you say, shoving his legs so you can sit down. He moves his legs, and you sit down, pulling out your phone.
"How are you babe?" Felix asks, shutting his laptop. You look away from your phone, wondering if you should tell the truth empty sad, or lie.
"Uh, I don't know, I'm just tired, anyway what are we doing tomorrow?"
"Well, I was gonna meet some of my friends, it's kinda a reunion, exciting!" You sigh, quite too loudly.
"Hey what's wrong?" Felix sits up and goes closer to you. You suddenly stand up, you feel your eyes watering.
"What's wrong? Nothing is wrong! Just leave me alone!" (A bit of an over reaction, but eh) You storm to your room.
Felix POV
I hear Y/N slam the door, I sigh, I know why she's this way, it's because it's her birthday tomorrow, and I've been working on the best celebration for her, but the catch is, it's a surprise, and I was trying to act all clueless towards the special day, I guess it didn't work. I hope she forgives me in the morning. I fall asleep on the couch.
Your POV
You wake up, feeling quite empty. It's your day, and nothing was planned. You get up and look your self up and down in the mirror. Then you walk out. You almost trip over, out side your door is a trail of perfectly wrapped presents, that goes all the way down the hall way. Your emptiness starts to fade with happiness, you bend down and grab the first present, then the second, third, forth,etc. When you get to the end of the hallway, your greeted by a huge plate of bacon and eggs, served neatly. You sit down, smiling.
"I didn't forget" you look up, Felix smiling. You stand up and walk towards Felix.
"I've got a whole day planned for just you and me" you stand on your tip toes and kiss his lips.
"Oh my gosh, you don't know how thankful I am, weren't you going out with your friends?" say.
"I just said that so you could be more surprised, I'm sorry for upsetting you last night, I love you, and happy birthday"
