I waited for a month for Jack to return.  I got slow with my writing because I was always expecting him to burst through my window any minute.  Silly, isn't it?

I pressed save on the two paragraphs that I had managed to write today.  I hadn't been productive in a long time.  I heard a knock on my door.  Who would it be? Was it the landlord telling me I got evicted? No, I paid my rent for the month.  Was it the pizza guy that finally arrived even though I ordered my goddamn pizza two years ago? Maybe.

I opened the door. A familiar black hoodie and blue mask shocked me.

"Jack, you used the door this time." I stated.

He nodded before walking inside and placing his mask on my desk.

"It's been a month since you came. I kinda expected you to come earlier, considering how our last meeting ended." I said.

Jack grunted, but remained silent.  He gazed deep into my eyes, wiping the tar away from his own.

"Jack, talk to me. What happened in the past month?"

I felt arms wrap themselves around me, and a face bury itself in my neck.

"Jack, what happened?"

"Just work stuff, nothing you need to concern yourself with." He mumbled.

I sighed, letting the issue rest. I didn't need to know everything.

"C'mon, let's walk outside to get our minds off of it." I proposed.

"Let's stay here for the night, I don't want people looking at my eyes everywhere we go."

I pulled him onto the couch, and looked deep into his sockets. Though it was none of my business, I needed to know if Jack was safe.

"Jack, where do you live?"

A deep frown crossed his face.

"Jack, wherever you go, are you safe?"

"Y/N"

"Jack, are you safe?"

"Y/N, I can take care of myself just fine." He said pulling me closer to him.

"I know. I've just been worried about you for the past month."

He sighed, "I won't be gone so long before I visit again."

His gaze shifted to the clock. Upon seeing the time, he rose from the couch.

"The others will be wondering where I am?"

"Who are the others?"

"My housemates."

"Can't you stay?"

He took a moment to weigh the pros and cons. Let's just say the pros outweighed the cons.  In the end, he decided to stay with you

Okay, so you probably know this since it takes ten years to update these; but I'm at a total loss for ideas. If you have any interest in leaving any ideas for any of my books, don't be afraid to comment or directly message me! Adios~
