No ones pov
Living in the shadows is never fun. Having to hide from people, not even making the snow or ice come along, it's always scary.
Fearing that people will find you and what they'll do to you once they do. Always on the move and can never settle down like you want to.
For winter, it's either this so she dies. She hides in the day but will do what she needs to at night, well really like at midnight or even sooner if she's lucky.
She's never been to school and she's never played with anyone her age. That was until that day where she came out to play with the other kids but the parents saw her as a monster and told her to leave and never come back.
She couldn't leave though, this was her home and she was going to stay put no matter what. So she just hide, she would hide in abandoned buildings if she got the chance or even sleep on roofs.
She knew that this day would come and she always hated it. She ran out of food and clothes and right now she crashed at abandoned house.
She sighed and threw on a large hoodie that kept her hidden and a scarf, so no ice could escape her mouth and form any type of ice sculpture or anything like that. She wore gloves so she can't make any ice or even any snow and put on her boots so she can't leave a trail.
She sighed while pulling her hoodie over her head and grabbed the money she stole from someone, who had at least three thousand dollars.
She looked around for her winter owl, who warns her if anyone tries to walk up to her or she's bout to pump into someone.
She looked at the owl and when it looked at her she ran, even though the weather is perfect for snow and it's the first da of winter, she had to make sure she couldn't leave any traces of ice or snow behind as she ran, ran and ran.
She gets to a nearby shop and looks around to see if anyone looks suspicious, but she was in the clear and she just grabbed a bag, knowing how long before people start to look, she only has ten minutes.
She just grabbed random underwear, the right bra size and just picked more random clothes that could hide her.
Five minutes left as she paid the cashier and took her bags and acted like she needed to be warmed up as she took her bags and walked off.
She looked around for he owl while cursing to herself, it wasn't near, must've found food or something.
She needed food, and that was the best thing has ever existed and that's just what she got. At least a whole cart full of food, and she was at her last seconds and now people were looking at her.
She took all of her bags and walked out while looking down, listening to the owl who guided her till she was out of harms way as she finally got home.
When she got in she locked the door and put the food away while taking off her shoes and let her feet touch the cold hard ice.
She's never been used to wearing anything on her feet, when she was small she would always just run around the snow and the ice with no ones on.
Just feeling free, she missed that feeling, running around freely and not having to worry about anyone or anything at all.
She always wonders when she will get that feeling back. No longer having to hide herself anymore and just let her powers be free.
But she knows that won't happen, not for a long time. And she'll just have to wait more and more.
