Cecil wandered the mostly empty warehouse where she was supposed to be meeting her hitmen that were capturing the one and only love of her life, William Barry Clifton, son of Joanne Alexia Clifton and Alexander Leroy Clifton, as well as the brother of Daisy May Clifton. She stopped dead in her tracks that had led her to the center of the warehouse as she looked around, trying to think about the next steps to her plan. "Find William, bring him to me, and I'll get you the money. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 you idiot!" Her own words rang in her head as she was finally focused on something other than the several leaky pipes or the rats scampering around. She was snapped out of this dreamlike trance as a car pulled up to the back door of the warehouse, easily recognized as the one her minions use to do her bidding.
"Aye boss, we found him but he's in pretty bad shape. He looks like he was swallowed by a goddamn bird or something," one of her minions said after opening the loading bay door and dragging Williams limp body out of the car. Williams right shoulder looked as if it had been beaten by a thorny bush and his left thigh had been skimmed by four different bullets in several spots.
"Y'think he got in trouble with Dick Thomas?" One of the henchmen asked, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.
"Nah, I think he got into another fight with a double crosser!" One of the goons replied, snickering a bit as he did. "He don't know when someones crossing him."
"Oh shut up, will you?! I'm trying to think you idiots!" Cecil snapped, smacking one across the face and watching the other two slink away out of sheer terror.
She sighed and looked at William, thinking that he'd be fine and that he wouldn't need any medical attention unless something got infected. She motioned for the men to leave and that she'd handle it from here.
