I awoke on a small futon in what seemed like a small room. I tried to get up but the pain in my side stopped me from doing anything. Last I remember I was in the library having another horrible dream. I looked to my left and saw no light shining through a small window. It must be dark there were no lights in the room and I rubbed my head. I had no headache and I felt fully rested but I wanted to go back to sleep and hopefully never wake up again. I laid back and noticed the decorated ceiling, it was decorated like blue waves and the paint was on point. I smiled and looked around some more; there was a desk, chair and rug. Nothing special.

I cringed as I heard the doorknob turned and closed my eyes. If I was back in the nightmare world I was ready to give up and die. I heard the door close and someone’s soft steps walk towards me. I twitched when a cold towel touched my forehead.

 'Finally awake lil lady?'

I've heard that voice before, the face of the man from the library came to mind.

'Yeah, I've been awake for quite a while now.'

 'That's nice.'

Award silence filled the small room and he cleared his throat as he removed the bandages from my wound and replaced them with new ones. I couldn't really see his face because of the lack of electricity in the house. We made two second eye contact and both smiled. I suppose his curiosity got the better of him and he asked what he seemed to be dying to ask.

'So.. Umm how did this happen?'

I smiled, 'Show me your face first. I'd open up to someone I can see thank you very much.' He nodded, stretched and pulled a string and the room filled with light. I squinted my eyes and looked up at the light bulb, how did I miss that? He smiled as he kneeled beside me, he was beautiful. His beautiful black hair and violet eyes made my heart melt. How did I not see him before?! Oh yeah I was too consumed with running from the evil finger. He smiled, 'I'm Nikolai and you little one?' I felt a blush threatening to come up. I tried my best to push it back, 'Silva..Err Umm I'm Silver. I'm not little.'

 'How old are you?'

 '16.' I answered proud.

 '21 here little one.' I face-palmed.

'Umm.. How long have I been asleep?'

 'Two days.'

'Sorry you had to put up with me that long.'

'Oh it was no problem at all, it was nice having someone around for once.'

 'My mother must be worried.'

'I'm sorry I looked through your purse and called her. She said that she was going through a breakup and that you knew the routine.'

I sighed and tried to push myself back up but failed and fell back with a thump, 'Okay, I have to go now.' He looked concerned, 'Whoa lil one you're still injured you can't go anywhere.' I shook my head, 'I've stayed here long enough, and I’ve really got to get going.' I pushed myself up but he gently grabbed my shoulders and set me back down. 'Too much movement is not good for you.' I sighed, 'Just for the night but I'm gone when I awake.' he smiled and turned off the light.

He got up and wished me a good night. I smiled and returned his kindness, he was so kind. I still wasn't tired so I stared at the ceiling, did he paint this? It's amazing! Oh and his eye color was beautifully rare, I don't want to leave.

'Oh give me a break you little slut.' I looked up to see the girl with red hair and blue eyes look at me. With a huge sword in her hand she smiled at me. How..?! I wasn't even asleep yet!

 'Y...Y...Y..You're supposed to be de...de...de-'

 'Dead?'

 I gulped and nodded.

'Well you see, I'm not de..de..de...DEAD!' she smiled widely and laughed maniacally. I was felt the hairs at my neck stand with fear.

'Don't worry weakling I'm not here to kill you... Yet.'

 I didn't say a word.

'See that wound?' The tip of her sword pointed at my stomach. 'You've been marked in by Colcrin. You are now his. You will give your life to him. You will die so he can live.'

 'Why?'

She stared at me. 'That’s how the world works.'

'I am Azpia, not that you'll need to know my name. This is the last that you will ever hear from me.'

 'What do mean the last?'

'I've done my will to Colcrin. I am no longer needed. I have carried his message on.'

 'How do I stop this?'

She held out her hand and the image of three people came, the first was a girl with brown hair and green eyes and the second was a boy with orange hair and blue eyes. The last was Nikolai.

'They will all die.' She said with a singsong voice. Horrified I stared at her. She smiled, bent down so we were face to face and looked me in the eye. 'Kill one of them and you can live.' She took her sword and grabbed my hair and with one swift slice she took a huge piece of my black hair. I stood there dumfounded, why had she done that? A small knife flew through the open window and connected itself to Azpia's head. Her mouth fell open and her knees gave way and she fell to the ground. There was a bone crunching sound as the knife expanded into a grappling hook inside her head and her blood fell on my face. Her limp body was pulled through the small window. Her sword was left behind when her body disappeared through the window. I heard the sound of someone coming through the window, and they didn't sound at all friendly.

I finally mustered enough strength to pull myself up and reach for the sword. I felt my bones being crushed as someone stepped on my hand. I screamed and pulled my hand back, the figure was wearing all black and they slowly picked up the sword. Even though I couldn't see their face I knew they were smiling. The person held a front stance and aimed for my neck. I braced myself but nothing happened, I looked up and Nikolai was standing in the center of the room looking confused. I looked around the room and once I saw there was no sign of the person I breathed a sigh of relief.

'Are you alright?' I wiped my face and pulled my hand behind my back then told him I had a bad dream. I looked at the ceiling.

'Did you draw that?' he smiled. 'I wish, I can't draw a stickman.' We laughed. 'Do you draw?' I nodded and he lit up.

'Can I see some of your drawings?'

 'Nope.'

'Aww come on. Wait a minute.' He turned on the light looked through the drawers of his desk and pulled a small book. I gasped as I saw my sketchbook. 'This is yours isn't it?' I shook my head. 'Well then you won’t mind if I took a look now would you?' I frowned, 'Go ahead, all my drawing are creep-' I looked up and saw full terror on his face. 'What's wrong?' He stared at the book, 'You drew all these?' I knew I couldn't tell him the truth so I said yes. 'What drawing are you looked at?' I extended my arms. 'Lemme see.'

He gave me the book and I sighed when I saw the new picture in my sketchbook. There were mountains of bodies and blood piled atop of each other and there Nikolai was with no eyes and blood spiking from his eyes as if he was crying. His face was unrecognizable but you just knew it was him. The drawing was a mass murder. Nikolai's violet eyes were at his feet and his skin was falling off. His head was cut open and bits of his brain fell to the floor. His mouth remained shut and his neck had a huge hole through it. He had no shoes and his toes were pushed into his foot. He had one hand and it was facing backwards. I don't know how he was standing; he should have been on the floor with the other bodies. I quickly closed the book and looked up at him.

'Nikolai, I can ex-' His hand was on my head. 'Don't worry about it.' his tone was cold and unforgiving but he was smiling. We said nothing and he left the room without another word.

How long will this go on for? What does this sketch mean?! I don't want to find out. I’m really starting to get tired of all of this, I want it to end. NOW.
