                         Ellie's POV

"Let's go" I got up and walked away from him. "What did I do wrong?" He said lightly grabbing my wrist. "You could've just told me instead of breaking my heart. Ethan, you knew I loved you and I would've never hurt you!" I said holding back the tears that have started to form in my eyes.

"You loved me? You never told me" he said. "I did, I loved you more than anyone else and you broke that." He grabbed my hands, "let me make it up to you. I know I said only one but I've missed this. I've missed your smile, your laugh, your everything. Please, El."

"If we start over, like nothing happened." He smiled and put his hand in front of me, "I'm Ethan Dolan. Nice to meet you." He said with a small smirk on his face, "I'm Ellie Washington." I said shaking his hand. "Let me drive you home" he looked at my hand and back at me. I gave him a slight nod giving him permission.

He slowly grabbed my hand and we walked back to his car. The whole time he had a smile on his face, and so did I. He opened the passenger side car door for me, "thanks." I said lightly blushing as I entered his Jeep.

He dropped me off at my house, "hey, I had a good time today." He said looking in my eyes. "Me too" he put his hand on my cheek while his other hand is on the steering wheel. He looked in my eyes and back down to my lips, I slowly leaned in and so did he. Why did it feel so right but so wrong at the same time? Am I dumb for doing this? Maybe but in this moment it felt perfect.

I smiled while our lips connected, we broke the kiss. He look in my eyes, "you are perfect" he said. "Not true" I said tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. "In my eyes you are, I'm gonna drive you to school tomorrow around 7:00, okay?" He said

"Okay" I exited his car and looked back at him. He was staring at me with a massive smile on his face. I chuckled to myself and entered my house. "Hey sweetie" my mom said in the kitchen. "Hey, what are you cooking?" I asked her, "steak."

I walked up to my room and sat on my bed, I checked my phone and I got a text from Grayson.

Grayson: hey, can I come over?

Ellie: of course

Grayson: see you in 5

I locked my phone and waited for Grayson to get here.

Grayson entered my room and sat on my bed next to me. "What's up?" I asked him, "did you go out with Ethan?" He asked me with a concerned tone. "Maybe" I said nervously, "you know what he did to you."

"I know but I feel like he changed" I said. "You shouldn't think he changed, you should know. Just promise me, you won't do anything you will regret. Ethan is my brother and I love him a lot but I don't want you to get hurt again." He said grabbing my hand in his, "I promise Gray."

"Thank you, it took me so long to forgive Ethan for hurting you and I don't want to forgive him again for hurting you even more."

"I get that but he's your twin and if I'm the reason why you guys ever stop talking, I won't be able to forgive myself for that."

"That won't happen, I promise"
