Medieval AU - Todoroki x reader x Bakugou (Part 1)

Bakugou's POV

Hmph, I got an invitation today...to a wedding.

Stupid, I hate weddings.

But being the crowned Prince of my own kingdom, I have to pay my respects to this bastard. It's only right, even if I don't like it. The old hag said that I have to represent the kingdom by going there, and here I am sitting in this stupid church seeing this through. I just want to get the fuck out of here so I can go back to being awesome.

Todoroki's POV

My father said that this marriage was one of benefit, for myself and for the kingdom. Hmph, as if he knew what's best for the kingdom. He doesn't know how much of the kingdom is in poverty, and he doesn't even care. He just wants the line of succession to be as perfect as he wants it to be.

So why choose this girl? A girl I'll have never met until today. He must have some kind of reason to choose her.

But I will love her and obey her, and treat her a million times better than my father has treated my mother.

I will not lock up my wife for any transgressions she has done.

I will not be my father.

Third Person's POV

Y/n is the eldest daughter of a neighboring kingdom; beautiful and kind. You had been promised to a crowned prince once you were born by your parents, and today was your wedding day. Only paintings were sent to you of your soon-to-be husband, and you saw sadness behind the heterochromia eyes; but also compassion and love. Perhaps you would grow to love him, and provide him heirs.

Your ladies placed flowers in your braids before placing a fur stole and cape over your shoulders. It was to be a regal wedding of epic proportions. A union of two kingdoms, and to show the other kingdoms that they will become the most powerful and that no one else could challenge them.

Bakugou's POV

Goddamnit, this wedding is taking so fucking long ...

I stood and turned with the rest of the audience to face the bride as she walked down the aisle.

...Fuck.

She's beautiful.

And she's marrying that half and half bastard...
