Magic [ 𝑀𝐻𝐴 𝐹𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑦 𝐴𝑈! 𝑥 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟 ]

- Shervage Forest | Chapter 8 -

   "Hey, Kirishima? Did you hear that?" [Y/n] asked as she watched the flame dance. The three had just set up camp for the night. And of course, they also just had to choose to set up right beside shervage woods. "Nah, I didn't hear anything. [Y/n] just go to bed, you're just being paranoid," Eijiro said before he started to doze off. Now it was just Katsuki and [Y/n] watching the flame. 

   "Bakugou, you can rest, I'll stay up," [Y/n] offered as Katsuki yawned. "What? Do you think I'm weak? That I have to have someone watch me? Is that what you're trying to say?" Katsuki went on a little rant as [Y/n] sat there, annoyed as hell. "Wait, Bakugou. Not to interrupt but did you hear that?" [Y/n] asked as she went to take off her hood, but then realized Katsuki was right there. 

   "Hear what? I heard nothing and I have great hearing so... it's nothing to worry about," Katsuki said as he walked off to the makeshift tent he made for himself and Eijiro. "Alright, but I'm just going to check," [Y/n] mumbled the last bit as she watched Katsuki enter the tent.

  After hours and hours waiting in the darkness, and the only sounds would be the creatures of the world and the faint sound of Eijirou's snores. As [Y/n] watched the darkness, she saw a faint shimmer in the darkness. [Y/n] called out into the darkness, loud enough anyone to hear but not too loud that she would wake up the two sleeping in the tent," Hey, is anyone there?" she waited and waited. But no one answered.

   "Hello? Really, is anyone there?" [Y/n] called out as she felt a shiver crawl up her spine."Haha, very funny guy," [Y/n] called out, her voice filled with anxiety. She looked into the darkness, hoping it was only Eijirou or even Katsuki. But no one said a thing. not a single thing was said. After she stared at the tent for a good while, as if she was praying it was one of the boys playing a little trick.

   After she stared at the tent, then looked inside, only to see two figures lying in their beds. A wave of panic flashed over her as she stared out into the forest. "Well, guess who's screwed...IT'S ME!" [Y/n] mumbled as she walked over to the fire.

   "You know what? I'm just going to just look around, what could go wrong?" [Y/n] said as she walked over to her tent. She left everything but her daggers and her bow. Looked towards the fire and placed an enchantment so it would not grow and cause a forest fire. "Goodbye guys, see you later I guess," She left for the forest, only to go deeper and deeper.

   "Hello? Is anyone there?" [Y/n] called out into the darkness. As she walked into the forest, she kept on hearing the same incoherent blabbering as before. It sounded inhuman, so of course [y/n] would go further into the forest, seeking out the source of the voice, or voices.

   As she went deeper and deeper into the forest she started to hear more. Then a twig broke from under her foot, she looked down and then grabbed her two daggers. She looked around, then saw two red eyes. Then ten eyes, then more than she could count. 'So, that's what broke the twig.' She was right, it was a gibbering mouther, one of the many sub-species of demons.

   She lured the creature out into the open, then she hid, only to take her bow out and shoot the monster's foot, burning it. "So, it's true... shervage wood doesn't burn, I guess I couldn't say the same that monster," the monster lashed out and attacked [Y/n] but missed horribly. [Y/n] had already placed her bow back on her back and taken out her daggers. She lit them on fire, blue fire. She jumped down and attacked one of the creature's many eyes. Then jumped around and attacked another one, then another, and another. Then she finally killed it with a final stab in the creature's heart.

   She jumped from on top of the beast and landed gracefully on the ground. Then she started to walk into the forest, daggers still in hand, knowing sometimes those demons travel in packs. She felt a hand tap her shoulder, and she dropped her dagger and flipped the stranger on their back.

   "Woah, [Y/n]! THAT WAS SO AWESOME!" Eijiro started to yell, and then [y/n] sighed, "It's only... YOU! SHIT!" [Y/n] ran off towards the camp while covering her ears. "I am really bad at keeping these a secret," [Y/n] whined. She got to the camp, then ran inside the tent and grabbed her cloak and covered herself with it. She ran out and saw Eijiro running towards the camp.

"How are you so fast [Y/n]? And why did you run off anyways?" Eijiro asked as he saw [Y/n] grabbing something from her bag. "Um... I didn't want to you... see my face," [Y/n] said as she started to draw a sketch of the beast in her journal. "Why wouldn't you? We're friends right?" Eijiro questioned.

   "Alright, I'll tell you if you promise not to freak out and/or say anything. Promise?" [Y/n] asked as she finished up her drawing of the creature. "I won't I promise, I just really want to see what you're hiding!" Eijiro started to jump. "SHHH! We don't want the loudmouth to wake up and see," [Y/n] said as she put the book down and took off her cloak, revealing her ear's and tail. "Yeah, you can't tell anyone ok? There are people who want me dead for who I am, and some who want me for their own selfish desires,"

   "Alright, I promise... but I have always wondered. How soft are hell's beast's ears? I've heard stories of people who skinned shifters while they were shifted and their pelts were super soft," Eijiro asked, and then [y/n] let out a sigh. "Fine... if you really want too I guess you can," [Y/n] sat there and opened her sketchbook to add info about the monster. "Are you sure?" Eijiro asked her as he walked up behind her. "Of course! Just hurry before I change my mind."

   "And again, you can't tell anyone about my ears or tail," [y/n] said as she continued her entry. She swiftly shifted to her beast form, careful not to wake the 'king of the beasts' or Katsuki up. Eijiro only could stare at the beast in awe. "[Y/n] that is... AWESOME! That is going to make our job so much easier! With katsuki's explosions and your Shift! This is awesome!" Eijirou started to ramble on and on. Accidentally waking up a certain hedgehog. 

   "What are you two talking... WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS THAT?"

   Hello again! I'm super sorry this chapter is short, but school just started up again and my brain is killed from having to do algebra with none other than a sub! Yeah, my math teacher had surgery and she has a substitute for another 4 to 6 months (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

   So, I being the lazy butt I am, don't show my work and now I HAVE TO SHOW MY WORK AND I AM GOING TO MURDER SOMEONE!!!

   Anyways, ignore my ranting and enjoy the new year! I hope you enjoyed my story so far! (✿◠‿◠)
