Magic [ 𝑀𝐻𝐴 𝐹𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑦 𝐴𝑈! 𝑥 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟 ]

- Huh? | Chapter 10 -

     "Are we there yet?" a bored Ejirou asks as he fiddles with a branch he picked up on his way. [Y/n] let out a sigh, then would poke at Katsuki, "Hey, do you have the map?" 

   "Of course I have it, idiot," Katsuki said as he threw it at the poor girl. She fumbled a bit before opening the map to find that they were... about 5 miles from the entrance. "So, we're still going to go straight thro- What was that?" Her ears perked up at she heard the sounds of a twig snapping.

   "Nothing, just you and your paranoid ass," Katsuki said as he snatched the map back, then would let out a yawn. "Aw, is the poor baby tired?" [Y/n] said jokingly before hiding behind Ejirou. "No I am not!" he yelled before snapping his head around. Everyone began to look at what Katsuki was staring at.

   "Grab your weapons, and be on guard," he said in a hushed tone, one very different from his normal everyday voice. No one said anything, just a quick nod before they pulled out their respective weapons. [Y/n] quickly pointed her ice enchanted arrow, one she had made while fiddling with her different enchantments.

    "I have read about the creatures in this forest, most are demons. Fire demons. They grow when hit with anything fire-related, and vice versa," Ejirou said as he raised his fists. 'must be a monk of sorts'

   "Do you see anything oh great one?" [Y/n] asked as she walked forward, trying to get a better view, only to be stopped by Katsuki himself.

   "Actually I do, so hide in a tree or something. We don't want our support hurt too much." He said in a hushed voice as he held up his sword, preparing for the beast that he saw in the bush.

   "Alright, you two be careful and yell if you need help," [Y/n] said as she ran towards a tree and started to climb it as if she was a monkey. She steadied her bow and then drew it back. She activated her ice magic, and the temperature dropped quite a bit. 'Hope this will help in our advantage.'

   "OI YA BEASTY, COME OUT FROM HIDING AND FACE ME LIKE A MOTHER F*CKING MAN!" Katsuki taunted, both [Y/n] and Ejirou facepalmed at that very moment.

   Suddenly the ground shook as a swarm of 7 demons, varying in height and size. "This is going to be one hell of a ride," Katsuki said as he charged the biggest of the group, using his magic to heat up the sword. 

   "BAKUGOU STOP! IT'LL ONLY STRENGTHEN THE BEAST!" [Y/n] said as she shot one of its many eyes, the frostbite spreading. All in hope of balancing out Katsuki's attack. He drove his sword straight through the demon's heart, then cut up, barely able to do so. he stumbled back to see Ejirou battling a few other lesser demons with his earth-based magic. Suddenly he heard a thud, then turned to see [Y/n] on top of a higher-ranked demon, her arms covered in ice.

   "Pay attention next time, knucklehead," [Y/n] said as she jumped down, grabbed her bow, and went to aid Ejirou. Katsuki went on to sulk a bit before unleashing his anger on the demons at hand. "DIE" was all Katsuki was saying, nothing more nothing less. A man of few words.

   Ejirou and [Y/n] were fighting right next to each other, their fighting styles oh so different, but still amazing to watch. You would never have known this was the first time they had worked together. After an hour or so of fighting, they finished off the final demon. 

   "That was a workout," Ejirou said as he fell onto the ground, only to have [Y/n] crouch next to him. "Are you that tired already?" she laughed as he nodded. She then turned to see Katsuki in a similar state. "Do you guys want to continue onwards?" [Y/n] asked as she grabbed her bow, then heard katsuki say "Yeah, we should continue. Or else these motherf*ckers are going to keep coming back."

   "You two seem exhausted though," [Y/n] said as she looked at Ejirou, then had a 'great' idea. "What if I shifted, then you two could ride on my back," she suggested as she helped Ejirou onto his feet. 

   "That sounds like a good plan, but are you ok with it?" he said through sharp breaths, "I'll be fine, and if anything, the demons should be afraid. A beast is very highly ranked, so we should only have to worry about other travelers."

   "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SHIT BEFORE?!" Katsuki yelled as he walked up with an angry look on his face. "Because you never asked," she said before she shifted into her beast form.

   She lied down to let them get on, slightly wincing at how hard Katsuki was gripping, but shrugged it off. [Y/n] started to walk as Katsuki yelled directions and chatted with Ejirou.

>>7 hours later, near a cave.<<

   "Are we there yet?" Ejirou said for the thousandth time. "YES WE ARE" Katsuki yelled as he hopped off. "Finally" [Y/n] let out a huff before transforming.

   "Guys? Can we take a small break? I'm kinda tired-" [Y/n] said before her knees gave way and she collapsed. As soon as she hit the ground she was out. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't wake her. And I mean, this is Katsuki we're talking about.

>>After a short while<<

   "W-what happened?" [Y/n] asked as she lazily got up. She looked down to see Katsuki's robe on top of her. She smiled a bit before turning to the two. They had set up another camp and it seemed to be dark out.

   "You transformed into your normal self before collapsing and blacking out, we believe it was due to exhaustion. But that was so manly how you carried us around like that! No one or thing ever approached us! It was super manly!" Ejirou said as he shed a single tear.

   "Yeah, that's what happens when I go overboard I guess," [Y/n] said before writing something down in her journal. "Wait Katsuki?"

   "What?" he said, slightly irritated. "You remember the market right? How you had a tooth?"

   "Yeah? What of it?" he said, as he tended to the dying fire. "Where did you find it?" [Y/n] asked, "Out in the woods, we were hunting and I saw it."

   "You sure?" [Y/n] questioned before reaching for a small necklace she wore. It had a tooth attached, and it had a little locket. "Because that tooth was one of mine," 

   "What do you mean yours? I sure didn't see your name on it" Katsuki said, getting slightly defensive, "But I did, do you know anything about a Hells Beast?"

   "Only that they're merciless in stories, but little paranoid shits in real life," Katsuki said before being burnt by the fire... which was controlled by [Y/n].

   "First that was just uncalled for, and second, a beast's tooth has a special mark on the back of it. That mark is specific to that beast, and that tooth had mine. And the funny thing is, I always collect my teeth after I shed them. Sounds disgusting but they're worth so much." [Y/n] said as she was flipping through her journal.

   "Huh, funny because I'm a HUNDRED PERCENT POSITIVE I FOUND THAT PIECE OF SHIT ON THE GROUND IN THE FOREST!" Katsuki said as he walked up to [Y/n]'s face. "And so what if I took it," he whispered, "there's nothing you can do about it"

   He smirked as he sat back down, "Oh yeah?" [Y/n] challenged. "There's a whole lot of things I can do," she smirked, showing off her incredibly large canine and razor-sharp teeth. 

   "Anyways, I'm tired again, so night."

  Hallo! I know this was a little longer but still short! I had an idea, and I'm too tired to fully write it down, so I'll save it for the next chapter.
