A Sparbossa omegaverse fic that doesn't include mpreg, just cause that's how I've invisioned this story. But if you've been reading my stuff and following me since the beginning when I wrote about shitty band members, you'd know that I have a soft spot for mpreg, so somewhere down the line I'll for sure write a Sparbossa mpreg fic. I just haven't came up with the right story yet.
Now... I don't have much to say about this, just that I've been really wanting to write a Sparbossa fic - and this ship is seriously lacking in fanfic - and out of the handful of ideas I've got for this ship, I've decided that this one is the first that I'll be writing.
Also, I just love this ship. It just needs to be said.
And to my knowledge, Jack is literally the only one in the films that actually calls Barbossa by his first name, Hector. Everyone else just calls him captain or Barbossa. And as far as I can remember since I haven't watched them as much as the first three, Jack only calls Barbossa Hector in the fourth and fifth movie, as far as I can remember, he doesn't call him Barbossa in them.
I have a slight headcanon that Barbossa doesn't like people calling him Hector, but he allows Jack to call him Hector.
Okay, even though the description implies that there's likely going to be a lot of smut in this, there's actually not going to be a lot. There will be maybe one or two smut scenes in this, maybe a few more, but smut isn't my favorite thing to write, so... there's not going to be a lot in it.
Now, in this, it's an alpha!Barbossa omega!Jack, so top!Barbossa bottom!Jack. With like I mentioned before, no mpreg.

Oh! It's sort of of importance that the rest of the crew of the Black Pearl are betas. Barbossa is the only alpha and Jack is the only omega on board. Was considering having Gibbs an alpha, but decided against it due to wanting Barbossa as the only alpha. I also conemplated on Ragetti being an omega too, but I also decided against that, as in this story omega males are extremely rare. Also even though he's not in this, Will would've been the only other alpha if he were in this story.
Elizabeth may make a few appearances, and she'll be a beta.
