Hoseok sat inside the quaint little coffee shop, sipping his vanilla latte. The sweet aroma was absolutely delightful to him. A perfect blend of the bitterness of coffee and the sweet flavor of vanilla. Although he was there by himself, and the only person in the cafe, he wasn't lonely. He was content. All he needed in life was his coffee, his phone, and his chocolate croissant.
The ring of a small bell alerted Hoseok and the staff that a new customer had entered the cafe. And boy, was he handsome as all hell. At least, that's what Hoseok thought. The boy with auburn hair strode confidently into the shop, his skin was as white as snow, and his face was round with cute, triangle shaped eyes that complimented his face perfectly. He walked up to the counter and ordered a black americano. Hoseok cringed at just the thought of a black americano. Nothing but bitter coffee. Like nothing but watery coffee beans. The customer glanced over at Hoseok, their eyes meeting for a brief second. Hoseok felt like his stomach was full of butterflies, but not just any butterflies. It felt like the butterflies were all having seizures. Hoseok looked away, and went back to scrolling through his Instagram feed, while the other customer continued to wait for his coffee.
Hoseok felt the table he was sitting at lean slightly away from him. He looked up to see the same man with snow white skin, auburn hair and a hot coffee sitting across from him, resting his elbows on the table. The stranger smiled a gummy smile at Hoseok. God, he's just too cute. Hoseok thought to himself. Before he knew it, words started tumbling out of his mouth like a leaf falls from a tree, effortlessly.
"Hi! I'm Hoseok, what's your name?" He queried cheerfully, flashing a bright, heart shaped smile at the stranger.
"I'm Yoongi." the boy replied, his gummy smile fading into more of a gentle, closed-lip smirk.
"Nice to meet you, Yoongi." Hoseok chirped, his voice energetic, yet deep and gentle. "What brings you here?"
"The need for caffeine, mostly." Yoongi chuckled, slumping into his seat and becoming more relaxed as he took a sip of his coffee.
"God, I don't understand how you can drink that! It's so bitter!" Hoseok remarked playfully. "I can't stand that stuff!"
"The more caffeine, the better. My blood stream is basically made of the stuff. It's almost addictive, in a way." Yoongi replied, taking a longer sip.
"That's one thing we can agree on." Hoseok paused briefly, thinking about what he wanted to say next. "Hey, Yoongi?" he asked timidly.
"Yeah, what's up?" the pale boy tensed up, prepared for Hoseok to recognize him as AgustD, or even worse, Min Suga Genius Jjangjjang Man Boong Boong.
"There's something wrong with my phone, it doesn't have your number in it." Hoseok chimed, hoping that the cheesy as hell pick up line would work.
"I can fix that for you." Yoongi chuckled, blushing slightly. "My number is 555-777-9311." he added, watching as Hoseok typed the 10 digits into his phone.---
