Things were back to normal. Sirius was his normal, joyful self, and Regulus went on a date with Ella and returned grinning because they kissed. James and Lily are caught up in themselves and are making sure everything is perfect for Operation Wolfstar. Same goes for Peter and Marlene.
Remus, on the other hand, was ecstatic but scared shitless as well. Today was October 31st, the day of The Halloween Ball. He has been practicing a lot and praying that Sirius reciprocates his feelings.
Now it is 7 o'clock. The time every boy goes to get their date. These 6 people had nowhere to go as their dates are with them. Regulus rushed to Ella's room and returned with a radiant girl, smiling like there is no tomorrow. They all looked stunning, not able to remove their eyes from their respective dates.
