"Buzz ... Buzz", my eyes opened to rays of sunlight entering my dorm window. "Buzz ... Buzz", half asleep I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and read the text.

MUM: How's everything going ? Have you made

any new friends ? Xx

I knew she would be worrying, I rolled my eyes and sharply messaged her back that everything was perfectly fine. Setting my phone beside me, I sat up against the bed rest with my MacBook Pro on my lap.

I went onto my YouTube feed and overnight I had gained 8,000 views, a huge smile grew apon my face and after reading the comments I felt so much better about my father and .. the story's behind the scars. I replied to 2 thirds of the comments and then I got up and headed to the bathroom.

I unzipped my makeup bag and painted a smokey eye look, then tied my silky blonde hair back in a messy bun. And to top off my outfit I added a leather jacket and a pair of converse.

Since it's Saturday and I don't have any lessons on my schedule, I decided to head to Starbucks which was to the left of WestWood. I entered the store with confidence and went to the counter, "hey can I get a double cookie crumble frappe-chino, please?", I gave the man who seemed depressed and stubborn my money, he then shouted across the room my order and told me to take a seat.

I sat in a booth that had a dim green colour and a sturdy, wooden table. In the corner of my eye, I turned to see snow, it was drizzling off the roof and falling lightly and carefully from the sky. "Here's your frappe-chino", I quickly turned to see a boy that was roughly my age, he had chocolate brown hair and eyes, a taper in one ear and a sterling silver lip ring.

"Oh thanks" I said while giving a grateful smile, I couldn't help but blush.

As he walked off I read the cup, expecting my name only, but instead it had a heart and a phone number.
