Marco POV

It's been three hours since i layed Aria down, i think she should be awake by now. even my sister is back already, so i decide to go and get her up. as i creep the door open, i hear faint whispering, so i open it a little faster and to my surprise i see Ari. up, out of bed. playing with my things.
"Ari baby-" she jumps about two feet in the air and when i enter the room she stumbles back then falls onto her butt
"you're okay! it's fine. i just wanted to make sure you were up-" she gazes at me from the floor, like if she's waiting for something
"Lala's back" with this she smiles and runs, inching past me in the doorway. Well that was.. nice.
as i walk into the living room i see Ari filling Layla's hands with.. i'm not sure. but when i walk closer, i come to see that these are all small things from around the house. i look back and forth between the girls and my sister laughs
"i don't know" she mouths.
"Aria, love, where'd you get this stuff?" she bowes her head
"it's some very cute things. i like this-" i reach and grab a little dice. where did she even find this stuff? "it's small, like you" i give her a warm smile but she only returns a smaller one. i wonder what's wrong. she seems upset or uncomfortable

Aria POV

i am upset and uncomfy. i want to go home with my own things and my own foods. my little stuff so i can be a happy baby. and i haven't figured a way to tell Lala this yet. so i bring her small things from all over her house, but she hardly gets the hint. and after her brother speaking, she's even farther off.
"it's small, like you" he says picking up a little dice. well good for it but i still want to go home. so i go grab my little bag and Lala's clothes from the bedroom and set them on the couch next to her. whole time these people are watching me like a new puppy who might pee in the house. finally, she gets the hint.
"you wanna go home, babe? we can do that. i want to take a bath anyway"
ten minutes later, she's said her good byes and is walking with me to the car. she opens the door and i step in, waiting to be strapped into my seat, but when i turn around i see it's Marco instead.
"here little one, let me help" i give him a mean look, then let him help because the faster i'm buckled the faster we can get outta here. as he's buckling me in, he slips a little paper into my hand. i look at him in disbelief. if he thinks... ugh. when he shuts my door and the car pulls off, i let the paper slip out of my fingers and threw the air. i don't need whatever it is.

Layla POV

my brother was acting weird the whole time we were there. kind of standoffish and just watching everything go by. especially Ari. that reminds me..
"Ari, bath time. it's hot and ready for you" she comes running, stripping all the way to the bathroom and picking it all back up on her way out. she loves bath time. something about it is soothing to her and i always wonder if it has something to do with her childhood. but that's an answer i wouldn't get out of her even if she spoke. when i met her, she was on a park bench with a huge jacket thrown over her, sleeping. i had taken her to a coffee shop and tried to get her to talk to me. but even after only 10 minutes of knowing this sweetheart, i knew i could let her into my home. she was just to kind and shy, poor girl must've had a hell of a life before that. i'm pulled from my thoughts after hearing lots and lots of splashing from the bathroom.. guess that's my cue.
when i enter i see the floor is a mess, her toys are everywhere and she's writing on my wall with... a sharpie!!!
"ARIA! What are you doing?? oh my-" she starts crying. of course she does. So i leave the bathroom and call my brother. i can't handle her right now, especially since i recently found out that i'll have my own baby to take care of in a couple of months.
"Marco"
"Yes Lay"
"could you please come over. i need some help"
i'm guessing he was excited because he barely even said bye before hanging up.
