Aria POV
i wake to banging on the door, and it makes me cry, immediately having bad flashbacks. wrapping my blanket around me, i go to the door and look through the peephole. i see Lala!! i've missed her! i quickly open the door and jump to hug her but she pulls back and raises her arms,
"bags!" she shrugs her shoulders and smiles
i smile small and stand back, letting her through. once she places down her things she turns to me
"hi Ari!! it's been awhile"
i smile big at her and nod, then run to grab a drawing i drew for her months ago
"that's so pretty! thank you love bug" her smile is so warm
"i'm here for my family, it's my birthday actually.. and they love to celebrate it for me"
she laughs a little, sounds fun.
"anyway, i wanted to invite you! don't even worry about anyone messing about, i have it under control, i promise."
hm. i think about i for a moment but agree, i trust her after this long of living together.
"Great! it's on saturday, but i will be here until then to help you with whatever you need"
it feels good to have her home now, as i said before it gets lonely.
she tells me that she can cook dinner tonight for us and sets up The Little Mermaid for me. yay!! i hum to all the songs and sometimes even dance a little, or make my stuffies.
Lala is so sweet, after we eat she even tucks me in and turns on my music for me. i don't know why she takes so easily to my life style but it definitely makes things easier for the both of us.
Marco POV
Today's my last day of work before i'm off for the weekend, including Friday. That means my youngest sister should be here by now, i decide to give her a call.
......
"hello Layla, how was your trip?"
"good, long. how are you!?"
"thinking of your birthday.. what are we doing?"
"not sure. call mom- i gotta go" click.
Alright then.
and hour and a half later i get all of the details and reserve a revenue with catering and even soft jazz. she'll love it. Mother does not.
*Skipping Two Days*
Lala POV
Saturday morning!! my birthday day! i wonder what mother has fixed up, what extravaganza. after cooking some pancakes, biscuits, and hash browns i go and wake Ari.
Since i've known her, i've realized she regresses slightly younger when she's tired and when she's very excited/comfortable. so i hold her hand to the kitchen to help her into her high chair where she hold onto her purple monkey.
"i would hate for Rosie to get syrup on her, do you wanna set her on the table, hm?"
she nods and gives her to me to to set up.
"there" i smile. she's so sweet, sometimes i just wish she would speak, not that it's awkward, but just for her sake. she's my closest friend. My brother calls once i've got Aria set up at the table and he asks about my party
"not sure. call mom- i gotta go" click.
"Ari you gotta be careful with the syrup love, it's messy" she just nods
Aria POV
Lala makes my plate for me, i'm very sleepy. i look around in search for my cuppy that usually has milk, for breakfast.
"oh i'm sorry Ari! i totally forgot hold on"
i guess i'm pretty easy to read? soon she returns with a new cuppy filled with cold milk. mm so fresh and yummy. and this food smells so good. i miss having a carer, even if it's just a friend.
after we eat she lets me down and i follow to her bedroom, where i hop up onto her bed. i love when she lets me help her pick out clothes!!
We end up choosing an elegant red dress, black heels and gloves to go over her hands, and she likes the cute little tiaras just like me!! so she wears one of those with matching earrings. She looks so pretty. but... i didn't know we had to dress this fancy. i tilt my head to one side, looking at her clothes
"do you like it? you don't have to wear this much if you don't want to, love"
oh good. i smile a little and we walk to my room.
