Aarohi's POV:

What a beautiful room it was, covered with ruddy and white balloons, different flowers and scented candles. Everything was set up in a way that it fully fitted for a romantic candlelight dinner.

The lights were soft but it still gave me an explicit vision of everything. As I stood admiring the elegance of the room in the middle of the hall, I noticed the door being opened and a silhouette approaching me. A feeling of enthusiasm built inside me. Unable to control my excitement, I walked towards the door so that I could see the figure.

I moved a tad fast, so that I could see the person, well, not the face, but at least the outline of their body. To my surprise, a strikingly well-built guy made his way towards me. Although I couldn't make out his face clearly, I was certain, he had a remarkable face with a well-sculptured nose which enhanced his striking features further. He slowly approached me with red flowers in his hands and just when I was finally going to see what he looked like, my alarm went off, making me came out of my Lala land.

Kring! Kring! Kring!

Oh, God. Not again!

I hate my alarm clock for ruining my very sweet dream! Why does it always happen to me?

"Are you a child? Who talks to a clock, Huh?" My younger sister, Kiran said entering my room.

Why did she have to appear during my colourful conversation with my alarm clock? Now she will go and tell this to everyone.

Ugh!

I mentally cursed myself and asked her the reason for blessing me with her presence early in the morning itself.

"Mom asked me to wake you up as she doesn't want you to be late for your college. So get up and come down for breakfast." She replied. Kiran is 2 years younger than me but is very bossy. She's beautiful, sweet, skittish but can be damn annoying sometimes. Still, I have to deal with her as she is the only sister I have and the only person with whom I can share my secrets.

"Ok," was the only reply I gave her as I mused about the dream that I had earlier. Such a lovely dream it was. If my clock hadn't disturbed me, I swear I surely would have seen his face.

"Maybe next time," I thought with a sigh.

Smiling at myself, I got out of bed and hurried to get ready for my college. Once I was done, I sprinted down the stairs only to see my mom and dad arguing about something whilst Kiran was enjoying it. Well, I would have done the same if I was in her place, after all, they both were so cute when they argue and these small arguments are the only reason why they are still going strong even after all these years of their marriage. There was a time when they were having constant arguments however the situation was much better now.

"Good morning Mom and Dad," I said sitting beside them. They paused and glanced at me in unison.

"If you both are done, please serve me my breakfast so that I can leave. I'm already late." I said and in return, they both glared at me.

"Why don't you think about this before conking out yourself every day?" Mom taunted me with a scoff.

"Mom, please, not again," I whined for which she gave me another glare but this time served me my breakfast as well.

"Thank you," I thanked her and started eating hastily as if I was starving for months.

"Now don't eat like someone is going to snatch it from you," Mom pursed her lips. I ignored her statement, as I didn't wish to be late.
