Let's take a minute,
To figure out what this is
Is this really what we wanted?
Or just a few moments of bliss?
Are we really happy?
Why are we second-guessing?
Do you see what I see?
For us, what is coming?
Are we fighting a good fight?
Or have we lost before we even start?
What's our destination?
What if those are different directions?
I'm afraid of asking,
But our clock is running
Do we keep fighting?
Cause I love you but I'm hurting
I want to keep you with me
But we're on borrowed time, baby
It's not ours to control yet
No matter how much we want it
It's not our call, please understand
We're falling apart and can no longer stand
Let's face the facts and deal with reality,
Baby it's not us, it's just gravity
So maybe it's time to give it up,
Let's give back what isn't ours
Cause no matter how much it sucks,
Baby, our borrowed time has run out.
