Hey everyone,

Just so you're aware, I'm participating in the Open Novella Contest 2019 this year again. I participated last year and wrote Pandora's Box: Works and Days. This year I'm writing a sequel to it based on the following two prompts:

You do not have to read the first one, as my first chapter will give you a little detail and there will be references to what happened before.

Primary:

8. Family Heirloom: You've inherited a family heirloom. For years, you've left it sitting in a box at the bottom of your closet, until one night you hear it singing to you. You try to ignore it, but the pull is impossible to avoid. Once you touch it, the power unlocks and you are thrust into your destiny.

Secondary:

2. The Meteor: A meteor has hit Earth, and it has brought an alien virus along with it. The virus spreads like wildfire, affecting every human in its path. While the virus does nothing to victims physically, it does severely mess with their mentality, especially their moral compass. It turns people into highly sadistic animals, wanting to destroy and kill anything they see for mere enjoyment. Of course, that includes each other.

What about my other stories?

I'm still going to be working on and posting them. I'm actually quite a few chapters ahead and that gives me a little leeway in terms of Forgotten Conscience so it'll go pretty smoothly. At least, I'm hoping it will.

The next chapter will be the beginning of this story.
