No one spoke to me in periods 2 thru 6 . But, in 7th period a colored skin girl walked up to me.
"Hey, your the new girl, right?"
I nodded.
"Well, welcome to Melrose!" I just looked at her blankly. She then tried again.
"Welcome to Melrose!" This time it got us attention. The thing I hated most.
"Uh... thanks." I left it like that and tried to walk away.
"Wait, come back!" She came running after me. Good thing we're in gym.
I kept walking she kept following.
What was with this chick?
"How have you enjoyed it here so far?"
"It's nice yea." I just looked at the floor.
"Have you made any friends yet?" I thought about that. Was Mohawk my friend? I really don't know.
"Well, sorta"
"Sorta?" She said confused.
" Well, there's this guy, um.. Mohawk?" She laughed. What was so funny?
"Ah, Mohawk always messing with the pretty ones." I felt myself blushing. I hate that I couldn't control that. She saw me blush.
"Woaaaa, don't get any ideas, he has a girlfriend" Of, course. But, I wasn't disappointed. I was still thinking about that cute boy named-
"Hey Lloyd!" The girl said. I turned around and saw him with a girl. She was pretty, but the way they were acting made it pretty clear that they were just friends.
I felt some one snap their fingers in front of me.
"Hey Chika!" I turned back around to face the girl.
"What is your name?" she asked.
"Roxy."
"Oh, I'm Jordan" Just then the bell rang and I ran to the locker room to get my stuff. I suddenly felt myself fall.
I put my hand on my head.
"Holy shit that hurt" I said. I looked up to see a worried Lloyd looking down on me.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was-" I cut him off
"It's okay, really" I tried to walk away but he caught my wrist, I'm guessing he noticed that I stiffened when he did that so he let go.
"Sorry, um... what's your name?"
I blushed so hard. He saw and smiled. His smile almost made me melt, wait my name right.
"I'm.. Roxy" I said
"Well Roxy I'm Lloyd. I'll...um, See you tommorow" He walked away and I waked out the door.
