He used to miss him every day of his life but with his "wedding" coming up he was worried about everything and anything. The past year or so Kurt would be at the back of Blaine's mind but this was different. The wedding was public knowledge to Lima, Westerville and its surrounding kingdoms for months now. Blaine knew Kurt would have heard about it. He felt like he was betraying Kurt. He was told many times by Rachel not to feel this way because Kurt left him, but Blaine couldn't shake this feeling.
Rachel's POV
It has been four years since my soulmate and I were really reunited and maybe after the wedding, he will finally realise that we were meant to be. That, Kurt, is just in the way of our relationship. I WILL get Blaine to forget about Kurt. My love just needs to realise who has always been there for him. Me! This wedding will be amazing! Blaine is marrying me so he can succeed the throne. We may never have kissed but that just makes the wedding more special. The wedding is next month, it will celebrate the fourth anniversary of our reunion. In the meantime we will tour Lima and Dalton, to gain support for the marriage from our people.
Blaine's POV
Maybe if I just ask I may be able to convince Rachel to invite Kurt. If just see him one more time, once more. Maybe I'll be able to go through with the wedding. I'll try asking Burt again, he became a blacksmith the day after Kurt left. It was my doing, I needed to have some connection to Kurt still. He needs to be okay, so because I know Kurt and Burt have a strong connection, Kurt wouldn't let that go that easily. Burt says Kurt's fine or, he used to say that, I stopped asking years ago. It hurt too much not having him close to me. No, I won't go back to that place again.
I walked down to the blacksmiths to see Burt. There he was as usual at the anvil, but he was shouting something. The person he was talking to came into view. Kurt! I lept quickly out of his view and peered around the corner.
Burt stopped suddenly and put down the hammer. "Kurt, I'm sorry that you're risking so much being back here but I just wanted to check your okay" Burt said.
"Dad, Rachel will kill me if she knew I was here and if Blaine finds me, I'm as good as dead!" Kurt continued, " I left him all those years ago so he can live the life he was born into! I want to see him, I need to...b-but I can't...".
"Kurt the last time I saw you was THREE YEARS AGO!! Will you please tell me why you can't come home?!" Burt exclaimed emotionally.
FLASHBACK
~Four Years Ago~
Kurt was in his quarters gathering up his things before he left for Lima, he was in tears. Of course he was, he was leaving the love of his life. He was being selfless, right? He was giving up their future together for the kingdom of Dalton. Suddenly a woman bursts through the door, she seemed determined to complete her goals. Determined was definitely not the first word that came to mind anther woud be, confident and angry.
"Hey! You! The name's Rachel! Soon to be Queen Rachel to YOU!" Rachel shouted at Kurt, "Don't you ever come back here again and DON'T go near Blaine, MY, BLAINE!"
"Uhmm, who gave you the right to burst into my room?--" Kurt asked confused, she seemed crazy.
"If I ever find out you have gone near him! I WILL have you killed!"Rachel screeched.
"And, I was just leaving," Kurt said to Rachel before grabing his stuff and leaving through the door Rachel came in from.
Now Rachel was stood there speechless, no one had ever taken the last word from her...
