My baby father just got to my place dropping off our seven year old son Landon, he walked in carrying sleeping Landon over his shoulders just as I was walking down the stairs, I was sipping on my wine just about to relax.. I had just got done folding my sons school clothes. I had to work in the morning at my job as a receptionist at a hospital where I've been working the past four years now.
My son was in the third grade and was an A student, for me to be only twenty six I was doing a damn good job with him. He was respectful and very well mannered and he adored me and his father both. Richard and I didn't work out simply because we weren't on the same page, he wanted to hoe around and deal with other females while I was home pregnant with our son so I left his ass! These little hot ass girls around here throw themselves at Rich because he gets money and drives nice cars but none of that means shit to me, Then the nigga just had a baby girl named Lhu Lhu not too long ago she'll be one soon with this bum ass bitch named Mercedes who's just looking for a come up, I don't like the hoe ass bitch and I never did but they're daughter is a cutie and she's Landon's baby sister... but further more me and Rich aren't together so that's his issue and not mines.
I had been dating a guy named Gee for about two months now and I'm really digging him, He still hasn't met my son yet it's not time for that but Gee and I are becoming closer each day and we're spending more and more time with each other. I don't let Rich know shit about my business because he'd trip as if I was still his woman.
"Still drinking that wine I see" Rich said walking up the steps passing by me to go lay Landon down in his bedroom.
"Yup and still minding my business while drinking it" I replied taking before another sip,
I headed into the living room and sat on my sofa, I turned on the TV because it was 9:00pm and Love and hip hop was coming on... Minutes later Rich came strolling into the living room,
"I'll be here to pick him up Friday let me know about his football games and shit too Skye, he was upset about me not being at the last one." Rich stated,
"Okay I'll keep on top of it...anything else captain " I asked sarcastically.
"Yeah smart ass, I'll be stopping by sometime Wednesday to drop off some money for Lj's school trip" he added,
"I already paid for it " I informed him,
"Well I'm sure he'll need spending money right? Stop tryna act like you in this alone..you going with him?" He asked,
"Yes I'm going with him and cool that's fine Richard " I answered.
He said cool and then left out. I rolled up a blunt and continued watching my show, I already took out Landon's school clothes for tomorrow so I had nothing else to do. My best friend Reese called me with some business tea from work since I hadn't been today, A girl named Chanel whom we don't like was showing off today saying how she talks to my baby father I just laughed and told her that I honestly didn't care...Rich was a grown man and he wasn't my man so he could do as he pleases. I was about to get ready for bed so I peeked in my sons room and kissed his cheek my baby was so handsome and ready for Christmas with his snowman pajamas, his favorite holiday he opened his eyes,
"Hey momma" he said softly as I rubbed his head.
"Hey Handsome I'm happy your home, I've missed you" ..
He rubbed his eyes and then told me he seen his little sister yesterday and that they all went to Rabby Rabits.
"Who's them all baby?" I asked being nosey.
"Me, my dad , Lhu Lhu, and her mom Mercedes " he answered... "Mommy I'm sleepy " he stated after,
I kissed his cheek again and told him to get some rest, I snapped a picture of him and posted it to Instagram.
