NAOMI A few weeks had passed and I was finally finding out what I was having, Terence was excited and Chasity was too but no one more than me!
Me and Terence arrived at the hospital thirty minutes early, I didn't wanna be late messing with this D.C traffic.
"Ms. Griffin!" Me and Terence stood up as we heard the nurse call my last name she led us into a small room with a half bed a monitor and screen and two chairs.
"Hello I'm nurse Rollins but you can call me Chanel, you ma'am can hop right on top of the bed and you sir can have a seat in the chair, Dr. Levy will be in shortly" Our nurse said with a smile before heading out.
"So how ya feeling?" Terence asked me as we sat and waited to be seen,
"I'm feeling fine babe I'm just super excited to find out what we're having!"
I answered rubbing my belly it was growing so fast and I was falling in love with my little bump.
"Good afternoon I'm Dr. Levy, your here to find out the gender and to hear that baby heart beat"
An older white guy said with a chuckle.
"Yes we are" Terence answered wearing a huge smile.
"Someone's a happy Dad to be congratulations!" Dr. Levy replied with a smile,
"Alright Ms. Griffin can I get you to lay back I'm going to rub some gel on your belly it might be a little cold"
He stated, I leaned back and pulled up my shirt exposing my growing belly the Dr put the gel on my belly and then began doing his thing to find out the gender of our baby.
"Ahh I think I got it" he said after a few minutes of moving the probe all over my stomach,
"Would you like to know the gender of your baby?"
"YES" Terence and I both said at the same time,
"Your having a baby... Boy!"
Dr. Levy answered smiling,
Terence was so excited and so was I especially now that I knew I really wanted him here now.
After that I was starving so Terence and I went out for lunch a waitress sat us at a table and asked what we'd like for drinks and then left to get them.
"I guess we can finally start getting that nursery together now" Terence stated,
"Yeah I've been dying to get in there and do something to it, I guess I should start planning this baby shower too" I answered,
Pretty soon the waitress was coming back over with our drinks, she than took our orders and took it to the back,
"When do you think will be a good time for that?" He asked,
