He's late.

She sighs in annoyance, kicking the tarmac street that lay beneath her. She didn't know why she agreed to another deal with him. Maybe it was out of pity. Her temper was wearing thin. She didn't like to be kept waiting. Jaemi checked her watch once again, watching as the seconds spun around. The faint glow of her phone reflects against the darkness of the alley she stood in as she checked her messages.

Jaemi:

Where are you, I've been waiting 20 minutes.

Hurry up or I'm leaving.

She waited another 5 minutes before checking the alley and slinking out. She was doing this deal for her boss, but she didn't care about losing a few pounds due to failing. The current customer that Jaemi had was young and naive. He seemed to have no idea of what world he was getting involved in. Perhaps it was for the better. That was when she heard rushed footsteps coming from the other side of the alley.

"Oh. Look who decided to show up." She halts her progression out as he catches up, bending down, hands on knees, panting.

"Look I'm sorry." he panted, looking up to her. "Something came up and I-" He panted once again, holding a finger up to her. She was slightly amused by his antics, choosing to ignore her annoyance at his tardiness.

"Do you want me to get you an oxygen tank?" She chucked, remaining stationary in her position, leaning against the alley wall. The boy laughed, finally catching his breathe and walking towards her.

"Do you... have it?" Jaemi nodded, throwing him the clear bag. She knew this would be her last run in with the boy, she knew he had a good heart and she wouldn't allow her harsh world to taint it.

"Do you have the money?" The young boy responds by pulling a hefty wad of notes from his pocket which she proceeded to snatch and sift through, counting it up.She smirked at the amount before shoving it in the inner pocket of her jacket.

"Pleasure doing business with you," she smiles as she watches him shake the bag. "Be seeing you then."

She then turns on her heel and walks away.

"Oh and Felix, make this our last deal. I don't like waiting." She doesn't wait for a reply as she walks at a casual pace through the alley to where her trusty motorbike was waiting. She had lied, she just didn't want him to fall into the inescapable trap.

Felix watched her sadly as she hopped onto her bike and sped off. Rushing into the fluorescent city nightlife of Seoul. To admit he was sad to see her go was an understatement but what could he say? In truth, he had never cared for the drugs after the first meeting, only wanting to discover the truth about the mystery of Jaemi. She knew a lot more than she let on. Like a bomb set to go off.

The unsaid secrets of Seoul were kept quiet for a reason.

He looked down angrily, allowing his thoughts to consume him. Felix threw the bag at the wall, watching it explode, the powder hopelessly floating around, coating the surroundings in white.
