~ 3rd person POV ~
Mikasa let go of Eren and stepped back. She smiled weakly and walked down the hall, out a door that lead to a staircase. An old wooden outdoor staircase leading to the shores of the beach below.
She jumped and slid onto the metal railing all the way down to the banks.
Mikasa smiled slightly and began taking off her clothes and jumped into the water still wearing the scarf.
She looked down at her legs. They glowed bright and shifted into a single fin.
Mikasa swam off and towards the village.
"Mikasa!" Ymir, a fellow council member, called swimming up.
"Yes?"
"The village, its being attacked" She said angrily, grabbing Mikasas wrist and pulling her to the village.
"By who?!"
"The Titans! They want you!"
"Why?!"
"I dont fucking know!"
They swam until they reached what was left if the village.
The human/squid like creatures were everywhere and the water was tinted red.
"Are they all.. Dead?" Mikasa asked, careful to not stutter.
"I dont know.." Ymir replied.
"Mikasa.." A weak voice said from under a heavy rock.
"Armin..?!" Mikasa exclaimed bolting over to the small blond.
"My tail hurts.. Are the Titans gone?" He asked, and paled at the thought of Titans.
"Yes. Ymir! Help me!" Mikasa answered, trying to lift the boulder off Armin.
Ymir nodded and pulled on the boulder until it came up enough for armin to pull himself out.
He tried moving his tail then yelped and fell onto the rock. Mikasa wrapped her arm around Armins waist and started swimming off with Ymir trailing behind.
"Titan!" Ymir yelled, pointing at a large titan swimming closer.
Mikasa sent Armin and Ymir to the surface, and consentrated, causing the water to slice the titans nape.
Another Titan grabbed her from behind, pulling her closer to its mouth.
Mikasa gasped and thought quickly, then with one swift movement, she stabbed her tail and screamed.
The titan let go, confused from the now red water.
Mikasa paddled to the surface and saw a group of mer-people sitting on a rock.
She called to them just before she blacked out.
