Chapter 2- Red Scarf

~ Mikasas POV ~

    I gaped at the messanger before speeding off into the vast amount of water.

    Then I saw it. The huge ship slowly being submerged underwater. And the man I saw earlier struggling with a rope around his ankle, pulling him with the ship.

    I sped off to him and waited for the right momemt and flicked my hand, focused all of my energy, and pushed the boat out of the water and on the surface for a moment, just enough time for the man to get his leg out of the rope.

    The world around me became blurry, and darkness was closing in. I felt weak. I gasped and sank. Down to the depths. But just before i slipped out of conciousness, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

     Cold. That is what i felt. My tail was covered in a soft fabric, and I was laying on my back.

      "I swear Captain! She had a fish tail and everything!" A voice exclaimed excitedly.

       "Tch. Sure. And why are you bringing me here? I told you to clean the deck!" Another voice hissed.

       "Yeah, yeah I did that, but you didnt let me finish..! So she saved me and passed out, so i brought her to shore! I covered her fish tail so nobody would think it was that weird, but anyways--"

       "Shut up! I cant fucking take you babbling! Show me what you want the leave me alone."

        "Alright!"

        I heard a creaking, probably a door opening, and footsteps.

       "So this is the supposed, 'Mer-person'." The cold voice snapped.

       "Not supposed, she is a mer-person!" The other voice said, and pulled the fabric off my fin.

        "Holy shit!" The cold voice exclaimed.

        "I know!"

         I felt a hand touch my fin. I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling for a moment before blinking and looking at the two figures before me.

         "You're awake!" The brown haired boy yelled.

         "No shit Jaeger!" The other man snapped. This one was short and had black hair.

         "Well, I am Eren," Eren said slowly, "This is Captain Levi."

         I rolled my eyes. "I am not an idiot. I understand what you are saying." I sat up a little.

         "Whats your name?" Levi asked, narrowing his eyes at me.

          "Mikasa. From Burmuda." I replied.

          "And you are half woman- half fish?"

          "It is rather rude when you put it that way, Captain Levi."

          "Tch. Go get Lenz. She can help talk to her." Levi ordered.

           Eren did a strange salute and left.

          "Who is 'Lenz'?" I asked tipping my head to the side slightly.

           Before Levi could answer, Eren and a small blonde girl came in.

           "Wow~! Its a real Mermaid!" The girl exclaimed.

            "I am one of many, actually." I said.
