Chapter six

-Chris POV-

"Imma go for a...run." I said. "Oh. By the way, my name is Chris." I added. "Be careful, Chris" Ashton replyed smiling. I smiled and ran out. I shapeshifted and the cold air hit my fur. It felt so good. After a while of standing, I started to run and immidentally I started feeling calm and relaxed.

-Jake POV-

"By the way, my name is Chris." she said. Chris. I love the name and her. "Be careful, Chris." I heard Ashton reply. In his voice was love and care. I don't want him to have her. She is mine and mine alone.

I ran outside and saw her running into the woods. I shapeshifted and followed her. Her fur was beautiful. It was dark red with mixture of orange and yellow at the tip of her tail and foot.

I must apologize. I have to show her I care and love her. I saw her sit down at the edge of a clift and taking deep breaths. I slowly walked up behind her and sat down. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "I want to apologize for what I did to you." I came a bit closer.

"I accept your apologize. But that won't do."

"What do you mean 'it won't do'?"

"To earn my full respect, you have to take care of me until I am back on my feet."

"Are you serious? I do have other reonsibilities to do."

"Not anymore if I tell the head of your pack....maybe I can even join." she smiled.

"Okay. We will see." I said.

"Yes. We will." she got sat up and ran back toward the pack's house. It took me a few minutes to run after her.

-Chris POV-

I got back to the pack's house before Jake. I was still in wolf form but I didn't care. "Ashton?! Ashton?!" I yelled looking around.

"Yes? What is it, Chris?" he walked out of a room looking worried.

"Who is head of the pack?"

"I am."

"Oh. Uh...can I join your pack?" I rushed my question, looking back to see Jake half way here.

"Yes you can." he smiled

"And another thing. Since Jake had hurt me, is it possible for him to take care of me until I am better?" I asked, still looking back. Jake is now in front the door trying to open it. Smart of me to lock it. I smirked and turn back to Ashton.

"Well...okay I guess he can. But if anything happens, just call for me." he said, in a serious tone. I smiled and nodded. I unlocked the door and Jake walked in. "Now you have to care for me." I smiled.
