𝐈𝐍 𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟕 somewhere in the western region of the United States, started the rumored beginnings of the Callahan gang. While the gang had formed much earlier than that, supposedly under different rule as well, the notoriety did not start until much later. Growing until what it is known as today, one of the most prolific gangs in United States history.

Callahan historians understand that the gang was formed under the leadership of Henry Callahan, and that details of this mans life— other than his death, are relatively scarce. He can be thanked for starting this 'Robin Hood' type movement of outlaws, but not for what it became.

After his death, the Callahan gang continued to grow. Eluding local authorities, state authorities, efforts of detective and bounty hunting agencies, and even the United States Army; as they partook in crimes including but not limited to homestead robberies, train robberies, stagecoach robberies, horse theft, murder, kidnapping, and cattle rustling.

Throughout their year long prime the Callahan gang moved throughout the United States and left no stone unturned. They were untouchable, which is why their disappearance in 1898 is all the more strange.

With all eyewitness having long since passed, historians and fanatics alike could only speculate what happened to the infamous Callahan gang. The case was to be forever unsolved...
