Who's smile used to be so bright
But something snapped inside of him

That no one seemed to see
How truly broken
How truly sad
He happened to be
There was a boy
Who's smile hadn't been seen I'm ages
But his tears dropped as he wrote
His goodbyes
In a book of stained pages
They could take away his freedom,
They could take away his love,
But they couldn't hurt him when he was safe
In the heavens above
