"I see those tears in your eyes, I feel so helpless inside. Oh love, there's no need to hide. Just let me love you when your heart is tired."

You knocked on his door, tears blurring your vision.

No answer.

You sobbed, knowing he had every right to not answer your pleas.

'One more time. He'll answer if I knock one more time.'

Your mind tried to reassure you, but doubt was flooding your mind. Just like your tears as they flooded your eyes.

You knocked again, expecting no answer.

You were right.

He didn't answer.

You wipe away your tears, ruining your sweater you wanted to wear ever so much this morning.

But you didn't care.

In fact, you felt nothing.

No emotion.

No sadness or anger.

Just... nothing.

You took a deep breath and began to walk away from his apartment door.

It began to rain, matching your damp mood.

You kept walking.

Not caring where your feet led you, you only hoped the rain wouldn't stop.

You love the rain, and at that moment.. it was all you wanted.

Your thoughts, the rain, and the darkness to hide your red eyes.

You felt your hands go numb with cold.

When you looked up from the ground, you realized.

You were at the park.

The park where you met him.

The "him" who is always with you no matter what.

Well.. "was" always with me.

You trudged over to the swings. You didn't care if they were wet.

You sat down on the left swing, looking over at the the right one.

He used to love going to the swings with me.

You saw a little girl and a little boy holding hands.

They came over to you, hands intertwined with each other.

The boy sat down on the right swing, and the little girl looked at you.

You immediately stood up, and let the girl take your place.

She sat down happily.

Why do they look so familiar to me?

They both started to swing.

The boy was swinging much higher than the little girl, making the small girl upset.

"How can you go up so high?! No fair!" The little girl slowly started to get off the swing, waiting until the swing stopped moving.

The boy started to slow down also, until his feet completely stopped the movement of the swing

The little boy ran to the girl and held her hand.

He brought her back the swings.

He sat down on the right one, and said "Okay, now, watch me"
