Alex pov

Im not mad that he didn't like me, im just kinda sad that i was the one who caught feelings first. It was obvious he didn't like me that way, but i still have a weird feeling when he looked rather upset about not kissing me. It was just a silly dare, but the look in his eyes made my heart flutter yet shatter.

I should just stop thinking about it, its dumb to keep dwelling on it when it's not gonna happen. He doesn't like me that way, so i should accept that.

Right?

"Alex! Time for dinner!" My mother called, and i sighed.

I got up from my desk and trudged myself to the dining room. I saw Theodosia sitting at the table near where my mom sits. I give a small smile. Im glad that they got together, there so cute.

"Hello Alex." Theo says to me, and i wave.

"Hi." I respond back.

My mom comes walking in with a pan of oven baked chicken. My mouth waters at the sight of it. We never really have such food like this, but i guess since Theo is here, mom wanted to be kinda fancy i guess.

Hey, im not complaining, it looks and smells great so im in.

"Hey hon. How was your sleep over?." She asks me, setting down the food onto the table.

"It was awesome." I say, and she smiles.

"Im glad you have friends sweety, im proud."

I give her a small smile back.

Better to tell her it was awesome, instead of saying i was slightly heartbroken and not to mention there was slight alcohol involved.

I sit down, and while my mom and Theo are talking about something, i think of John.

And how it would oh so be wonderful for him to like me back...

And for once, i think my half robot self actually feels emotion.

And it was love.
