"Im telling ya, there's something going on with him."
"I know, but he's our friend, we can't just assume things behind his back."
Peggy and John were getting very skeptical of their new found friend. He passed out from a heat stroke, and then everything went so weird afterwards.
"Maybe he's a government spy.."
"John!"
"Im sorry just a thought".
Peggy slapped Johns arm and he pulled it back, a sad frown on his face.
"I hope he's ok.." John muttered, and peggy reached over and put a reassuring hand on his back even though she'd just slapped him.
"Im sure he's fine, probably just as spooked as we were, i mean he did pass out, so anyone would be just as scared."
"Yeah.."
"A green dress?! Hell no!"
"But ma! Look at the color it's so prEttY!"
Rachael faceplamed, trying to not lose her shit.
"Alex, that particular shade of green with those shoes are not a nice combo. Why can't we just agree on something like white?"
"But everyone wears white to a wedding! We need to be creative, and green is a nice color.." (gReeN iS nOt a cReatIve coLor-)
His mother sighed, knowing well that her son was not going to give up on a green dress.
"How about we just settle on this lovely green floral crown instead? It's got little flowers and butterflies on it."
"..yeah. That'll do." Alex agreed, and they shook hands.
"Deal." They both said in unison, giggling like school girls afterwards.
The wedding was set in late October, since that's the month they both fell in love. There was only a few people there, mostly Theo's family, which was her mom and dad and a few siblings.
Everyone was sitting in fold up chairs, anxiously awaiting the two brides to walk down the aisle.
Alex was with his mom, who was currently trying to put on her flats.
"Alex i can't get these damn things on! They might be a size to small." Rachel huffed, and threw the light blue flats on the floor.
"Fuck it. Who needs shoes. This is my wedding, i can do what i want."
Alex rolled his eyes at his flustered mom, and went up to hold her hand.
She looked over at her son, and gave a small smile.
"Lets go get you hitched." He said smiling back.
"Smoking cigarettes on the roof. You look so pretty and i love this view."
Alex held his mom's hand, fingers laced together strolling down the flower petal covered floor.
Her soon to be wife was standing in front of them, just a few feet away. A yellow dress flowing down her body, a flower crown to match.
Ruby red lips curl into a teary smile, she was gorgeous.
"We fell in love in October, that's why, i love fall. Looking at the stars, admiring from afar."
Alex let go of her hand once they arrived to the front. He stepped to the side, while the two brides gazed upon each other.
A priest was reading, and they said their "i do's"
A diamond ring slipped onto Theo's finger.
"My girl, my girl, my girl. You will be my girl."
Then they kissed each other passionately, while everyone cheered them on. Alex even shed a few tears, happy to see his mother find her one true love.
Everything was perfect. Cake was served afterwards, Rachael and Theo both feeding each other while getting icing all over their cheeks.
