Sharon's Curse

A New Life

THUD

               "AAAAAAHHHHH! What the... where am I?" exclaimed Sharon. "This place looks like my bedroom. But, how did I end up in my bedroom? Didn't I plummet to death? How am I here?" Sharon keeps questioning reality. "I just wanted to die, is that a hard thing to do? But I don't want to commit suicide." said Sharon. "Ugh, whatever. I just have to act normal and start another miserable and painful day." she said in agony. "Sharon, why did you scream? Are you okay?" someone asked from outside her bedroom door. Sharon replied, "It's nothing mom, I'm fine." "That's weird, since when mom cares about me?" Sharon mumbled. "Wake up Sharon, you're gonna be late for school." said another person. "Yes dad." Sharon replied. "Since when did dad care about me too?" she mumbled.

                 As Sharon opened her bedroom door, her parents already went downstairs, thinking it was just gonna be another horrible day. Sharon sighed and prepared for school. She went downstairs and saw her parents prepare breakfast and lunch for her. She thanked them and left for school. As she was walking to school, she kept wondering, "why were they so nice to me this morning? They usually beat me up and tell me to eat the leftover food they had eaten." She was confused, but happy at the same time. The next thing she wandered about was how her 'friends' will treat her.

               Sharon arrived at school, opened the door to her classroom, and to her surprise, all her 'friends' actually acted like friends. They greeted her, asked her to play together, asked to study together, and other activities that friends would do. Sharon was very happy, she started to think that all the people around her changed their attitude towards her. The whole day she was praised by teachers and treated well by everyone. As school ended, a group of people introduced themselves to Sharon and asked her if she wanted to hang out with them. Sharon gladly accepted their invitation. They're little hang out group including Sharon consists of four people, each named Raven, Zephyr, Sarah, and Sharon. They plan to go to a deserted and haunted house near they're school. They also planned to go there at nighttime, so they exchanged phone numbers so they can easily contact each other and plan things in advance. Sharon asked permission to her parents if she may go hang out with her new buddies. Her parents granted her permission and contacted her friends. Raven told them to go to his house and they will go together by car. So they met up in Raven's house and Raven took them to his father's car and drove off.
