Sharon's Curse

The Haunted House

               As they arrived at the haunted house, Sharon was starting to think that this was a bad idea. Though she didn't want her friend to think that she's a wuss, so they went inside together. There were a lot of cracks on the walls, scratch marks, a foul smell, and any other things that would be in any haunted houses. Sharon told her friends that it felt like they were in a haunted house that were like in the movies. They held hands because they were so scared, Raven being the cheerful one tried to enlighten the mood. As Raven was trying to enlighten the mood, all the doors around them started to shut 1 by 1. They all started to panic, Raven being his brave and cheerful self said that it was just the wind and calmed everyone. Once everyone calmed down, they started to chat to each other, trying to stay calm.

               As they were talking, Raven started to fell uneasy. "Hey g-guys,, w-why are th-those p-pictures looking at us?" Raven said to his pals. All of his friends, including Sharon looked at the pictures hanging on the walls. "Raven, are you trying to scare us?" said Zephyr in anger. "Yeah Raven, quit messing around, this isn't funny." said Sarah and Sharon. As they turned around, the saw Raven trembling and really horrified. "You guys really d-don't see it?" said Raven in a scared tone. "Come on dude, quit it, not funny. Let's just continue what we were doing and go home quickly." said Sarah. Raven wasn't responding, so they shook him. They kept shaking him, then Sarah realized something. "Hey guys, you know how in the movies people's eyes get like, all white and stuff when they you know, get possessed by a ghost." said Sarah in fear. "Yes, why are you talking about that now?" replied Zephyr and Sharon. "Well, look at his eyes." said Sharon slowly walking away from Raven. When Zephyr and Sharon looked at Raven's eyes, they got pissed off. "Sarah, are you seriously gonna prank us in a situation like this." said Zephyr and Sharon. "No, I'm being serious." said Sarah, trying to convince them. "Come on Sarah, quit messing with us, let's just go. Sarah nodded and tried to convince to herself that it was just a hallucination. So they went, leaving Raven behind.

                As they were exploring the haunted house, more scary phenomenon happened. The candles hanging on the walls started to flicker continuously, they started to hear a lot of creaks and whispers, they heard thunder and howling, they started to feel uneasy, anxious, and hungry. As their stomach growled, a door opened and a nice scent came out of that room. They went in that room, and they felt incredible happiness. "Its food, it's actually food." said the three of them in glory. Sarah rushed in to that room, and the door shut. Zephyr and Sharon was outside, banging at the door. "Hey, let us in too!" Shouted Zephyr. As they were banging the door, Sarah suddenly screamed from inside the room. The door unlocked, they peeked inside, and they were stunned. They saw Sarah laying on the floor, foam coming out of her mouth. As they were about to go in, someone whispered to them. "Do you really want to come in?" the voice said. They didn't know what to do as the voice kept on repeating. Zephyr can't stand the whispering any longer, he didn't heed the voice's advice and ran into the room, the door shut again, leaving Sharon on her own outside. She heard Zephyr scream in terror, and Sharon started crying. the door opened, and she could see a familiar demonic figure. "SHARON, RUN! I'LL HOLD HIM OFF FOR YOU, JUST RUN AWAY TO SAFETY!!! GET AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND DON'T STOP RUNNING!" shouted Zephyr. Sharon started to run, she looked back as Zephyr fought that familiar demonic figure. She kept on running to what it seems to be an endless hallway. Then, the same event occurred over and over again.

Author's note :

          For the ones that doesn't understand, Sharon died in the first chapter. If you think about it, no one would use thud for an object that fell. Thud is usually used if a body fell down, right. So in reality, her running in the hallway was a reference to her running in real life, and her falling down a hole was a reference to her falling down from a high place. So it was technically suicide. In the second chapter, she was technically in hell for committing suicide. The devil put a curse on her so that she would repeat the same pain over and over again.

           By the way, if this wasn't for the English Project, I would probably write something for chapter 3 like, making Raven a living corpse, push Sarah into the room and eat her alive. But that would probably mean violence, and writing something that included violence would mean me breaking the rules. Plus, I had more ideas to this story, like the continuation. But I was too lazy to type, and I'm afraid that my partner Vincent would have a hard time translating if the story was too long, because he haven't translated at all.

          The story was suppose to be continued like Sharon going into another hallway, but that hallway is different. The hallway was supposed to make her remember bad things that her parents and everyone around her did to her. The title was gonna be like Hallway of Fear and Sorrow or something like that. Then meeting the Demon coming out of the portal thingy like in the cover picture. Because of her already dead inside because of those memories, she thinks of the devil as her father. The devil pretend to be kind to her, he tells her the truth that she's dead, and uses her dead body in real life to make a portal from hell to the real world. Then I would continue it in a second story. Sharon becoming the main antagonist in the second story and new introductions of other characters. So in the first place, this story doesn't have anything to do with curses and having the same events occur over and over again. Plus, the story that I just written doesn't have anything to do with the cover photo. If I written the story like the one I explained was supposed to happen, then it would relate to the cover photo.

          Anyways, thank you all for reading my story that I think isn't so good, cuz it's the first time me actually typing/writing  a long story. Thank you all again for reading. God Bless You...
