This book is an alternate timeline that reworks season one. This means not everything happens like it does in the show, but follows strongly to the timeline and most events.
This book takes place over a week, and to make writing Eleven easier, and more fitting since in this book she has more friends than just the party, she's not as shy and will speak full sentences, unless she is scared or around someone who truly terrifies her.
At the top of each chapter there are song lyrics and the song it belongs to, this song and the lyrics being related to the chapter.
