We arrive at the diner and scan the room for a place to sit. Normally we'd take one of the small tables in the middle of the room, but tonight we're expecting more than three of here. As we look, I try and spot Yuta, and to my surprise, I don't see him anywhere.

"Over there," Taeyong says, pointing to a large corner booth by the window.

We follow him over, and we sit down. I choose to sit in the very corner, so I'm in the middle of everyone. That way I can see exactly what's happening.

"Are you nervous?" Taeyong asks Kun, and I'm curious about the answer.

"A little. She seems really nice." Kun admits, rubbing his hands together like a fidgety kid before a presentation.

"It'll be fine. I'm sure she's way into you." Taeyong says, trying to boost Kuns confidence.

"You think?" Kun's eyes light up, and I can see him trying to hide a smile.

"Speak of the devil, I think she's here." I point out, as I see a blonde girl walk through the door. Beside her is a short girl with glasses, a really tall guy with wavy hair, and one other person. I can't make out their gender as they're wearing a hood and a face mask.

Taeyong put's his hand up to get Mercy's attention. She spots us and starts walking toward our booth.

"Hello Kun, and friends." Mercy smiles as she see's us.

"Hello again." Kun blushes.

"I'd like you to meet my friends, Taeyong and Doyoung." Kun says as he points to us. I do the polite thing and reach my hand out for them to shake. Everyone shakes back, except the person in the mask.

"Nice to meet you guys! These are my friends," She starts, stepping back so she can point to each person.

"Kay." She says pointing to the short, petite girl.

"Johnny." She points to the tall one with wavy hair, he flashes us a smile, and I nearly pass out. He is heavenly.

"And, my boyfriend, Yuta." She said pointing to the boy beside her. He takes his mask off and his eyes open wide once he can see our faces properly. He knows who we are, and we know exactly who he is. Nakamoto Yuta, the boy who called me a fag only a few hours ago, and the boy I was hoping to avoid. I shoot Taeyong a look, and just like me, he's shocked. We both look to Kun and frown as we see how disappointed he is.

"Nice to meet you guys," Taeyong says, and all but Yuta smile.

"Thanks for inviting us," Johnny says as he takes a seat next to Taeyong.
I look him up and down, and I can't help but melt. Please let him be gay, please let him be gay.

"It's no problem," Kun says, trying to fake a smile.

Kay takes off her jacket and slides in next to Kun. I just pray to myself she's single and she and Kun hit it off.

I watch as Mercy sits next to Kay and Yuta next to Johnny. I scoff as I catch a whiff of Yuta's cheap cologne.

"What's everyone getting?" Mercy asks as she pulls out her wallet as if to insinuate she plans to pay for everyone.

"Chocolate Milkshake." Kay smiles.

"A plate of fries for the table," Johnny adds.

"What about you guys?" She asks Taeyong, Kun, and I.

"I'm fine. " Kun smiles.

Taeyong pulls his wallet out and holds out a five dollar bill for Mercy to take.

"Can you get me a vanilla milkshake for Doyoung?" Taeyong says, looking towards me.

"Don't be silly, It's on me." She smiles and pushes Taeyong's hand away.

"Thanks Mercy." I smile back.

"No problem. So that's one chocolate milkshake, one vanilla milkshake, and a plate of fries for the table?" Mercy repeats, to confirm.

"Right." Johnny smiles.

"Cool, I'll be right back." Mercy stands up and walks over to the counter. It's faint, but I can hear her ordering.

"I'll go help her." Kay gets up and walks over to her friend. Leaving us with the oh so dreamy Johnny, and Yuta, the asshole.

"Listen, I know who you weirdoes are, and I have no interest in being your friend, so don't try to make conversation with me," Yuta speaks up to break the silence.

"Classy," I reply.

"Oh, and I am so close to banging Mercy, so if you fuck this up for me, I'll make your lives a living hell." He says, his eyes cutting deep into me.

"Whatever you say, Nakamoto." Taeyong rolls his eyes, and I do the same. I look to Johnny to see what his reaction is, and of course, he has his earbuds in, watching some dance video on his phone.

"What did we miss?" Mercy and Kay come back to the table with everyone's food. Mercy hands Kay her milkshake, puts the fries in the middle of the table, and gives me my milkshake last, a huge smile on her face. What's a girl like her doing with Nakamoto Yuta.

"Oh nothing, I was talking to your new friends," Yuta speaks up, flashing her a smile. If he wasn't such a dick, he'd actually be pretty cute.

"Nice, I'm glad you guys are hitting it off." She smiles, sitting back down.

"Kun, you seem quiet, what's up?" Mercy frowns, looking in Kun's direction.

"I'm fine, just tired." Kun forces a smile and my heart breaks. I know he's lying.

"So which one of you lives in my apartment building?" Mercy speaks up again.

"I do." I say.

"Nice! I just moved it, that's probably why we've never seen each other before." She explains, and I barely listen. I feel bad for Kun, but I also feel bad for her. She doesn't deserve to be with Yuta. Especially when he only wants to bang her and leave.

"do you guys come here often?" Kay adds to the conversation.

"Not really. We spend most of our time at Doyoungs place." Taeyong explains.

"What do you guys do?" Kay asks.

"Play video games, study, talk." I say.

"You should start hanging out with us! We do the exact same thing." Johnny says, flashing me another smile. I feel myself staring, so I quickly look down to my milkshake, hoping to avoid eye contact.

"That would be so fun!" Mercy adds, and I want to deny but instead I say;

"Of course."

"So how long have you two been dating?" Taeyong asks, the question directed towards Mercy and Yuta.

"Just two weeks. I'm new to town." Mercy explains.

"And what about you Johnny? Anyone special in your life?" I ask.

"Well, my girlfriend just broke up with me, so I'm currently very single." He frowns.

"I'm sorry to hear that." I lie. Now I can just hope he's bisexual, and I still have a chance.

"Don't be sorry, I'm sure the person of my dreams is right in front of my face," Johnny says, and I want to scream that I'm right here, but we just met. That wouldn't be rational.

"You'll meet someone special soon, Johnaye," Kay says as she touches his hand, and he gives her a look of appreciation.

I look to Kun, and he's still sitting there, clearly uncomfortable, then to Taeyong, who looks almost exactly the same. I frown to myself. This is going to be a long night.
