'What do you mean,' I asked, panicking, 'are you saying that there are more creatures than humans and angels?'
My life had changed so much in the last ten minutes. I had nearly been shot. I had met my guardian angel and I was pretty sure everyone had one. Thinking about this, one quote kept on repeating itself in my head; Everything has changed.
Raza's sigh pulled me out of my thoughts, 'unfortunately there are,' he said, 'what was trying to kill you was a demon.'
'A demon?! Are you fucking kidding me!'
'Why would I even joke about that?' Raza said, annoyed, 'demons exist and they are our enemies because faith decided that.'
'You guys really are into faith and destiny, aren't you?'
'That's because our whole history is based upon what you'd call myths and legends.'
'And what about the demons then?'
'You want me to tell you the whole story? Cause I happen to know it by heart. All angels do, actually, but that doesn't really matter, right now.'
I grinned, 'yeah, sure. Tell me.'
And he started talking with his beautiful soft voice, making me feel like I was dreaming.
"A very, very long time ago, even before humans existed, even before the earth existed, the universe was nothing but empty space. Until one day suddenly two 'somethings' appeared out of the nothing. Slowly time turned them into living creatures. One was made of fire and called itself Satan, and the other was made out of light and called itself God. Millions of years they lived a peaceful though separated and lonely life, not knowing of each other's existence. Both of them fantasized about a world, one completely different from the other. God dreamed of a beautiful world where everyone lived peacefully alongside each other, while Satan dreamed of a world where everyone lived under his command. He didn't care about beauty, only about power. When both of them were convinced their world was the best, destiny decided that they would meet each other. So that happened. At first Satan and God were grateful to the universe about their destined meeting but when they started sharing their ideas they found out they had been wrong. God tried to talk to Satan about working together but Satan wouldn't listen. He wanted a world of his own and started attacking God. The latter tried to ignore it at first but it didn't help. So one day God decided that there was no other option but to fight back. They erupted in a heated battle. Sparks flew in all directions creating new creatures of fire and light. The creatures of fire listening to what Satan tells them to do, the creatures of light working together, just as their 'fathers' had wanted. Until the day of today Satan and God are still fighting and so are their descendants. Trying to create their own perfect world."
'Today we call the creatures of light, the children of God or angels. And the creatures of fire are called the slaves of Satan or demons,' he finished.
'Wow,' was the only thing I could say and Raza laughed. Suddenly I snapped back to reality and realized what he had been telling was not just a story but what they thought was their history. 'Is it true?'
'I don't know,' Raza sighed, 'but demons exist and angels do and that's all I need to know to protect you.'
I was flattered by this so I blushed a little. And I opened my mouth to say something but Raza stopped me.
'Quick! Grab your phone or something,' he hissed.
Quickly I did as he said, not understanding why, until suddenly a woman passed by. Scared I looked at Raza but he put a finger on his lips.
The woman nodded at me and just passed by, not seeming to care that there was a bloody angel standing in the alleyway.
When she was out of sight I looked at Raza, 'how come she didn't see you!' I said, amazed.
He grinned at my confusion, 'I'm your guardian angel, so only you can see me.'
'Oooh, couldn't you have told me?!' I said, annoyed, 'I was scared to death that she might have seen you!'
Raza smiled warmly at me and put his arm around my shoulder. Suddenly I felt my body glowing form the inside out and there was nothing I wanted to do more than rest my whole body against his. Wanting the glow to never disappear.
I looked closely at him and saw that he closed his eyes for a second, sighed and then he let go of me. Slowly the warmth vanished.
'Oh my God,' was the only thing I could say.

Hey guys, thanks for reading this far! I really appreciate this.
I really had a lot of inspiration for this chapter which is why it's updated a little earlier than usual. I'm not really proud of how I put my inspiration in words, but I don't think I can get it better than this.
Also it's a little longer than the previous one, yay!
Hope you guys liked it! :)
