REBEKAH KATHERINE ARGENT HAS TOO MUCH RED ON HER LEDGER.
She was born into a family of hunters, those who deemed anything other than human as less than them, and raised by the psychotic head of the family, Gerard Argent. Her grandfather hadn't seen her mother fit to raise her and instead took the job for himself, infecting Rebekah's mind with his ideals. Her bedtime stories consisted of hunters saving innocent humans from the monsters that ran around in the dark.
Rebekah was eleven when she first killed someone, her grandfather had dropped her off in the woods in the middle of a full moon with a sword in her hands and no shoes on. She had been attacked by a rogue werewolf that Gerard knew was prancing around there, and in an attempt to protect herself had swung her sword and watched as he bled out in front of her. The next time she killed another werewolf was when she was thirteen.
Rebekah is sixteen when she got a call from her grandfather that the mother she never got to know was dead and they're holding the funeral in Beacon Hills, the small town that her cousin and her aunt and uncle were staying in. She packed her bags, and headed to a town infested with the monsters she had hated all her life, the very monsters she would learn to love.
