"Rank 1 and yet no emotions?" Jihyun mumbled munching her snacks at the rooftop. Staring at her food, drops of water started falling on it.
She looked up and no,
it wasn't raining.
It was at that time she realized her food was becoming salty when it was originally sweet.
It was her tears,
she was crying.
"If you don't feel grateful over your rank then at least give it to me! Bastard!" she screamed throwing her snack on the wall.
"Fuck being rank 14!" she continued.
"I don't understand.. Why can't I be number one? I always did my best and I'm tired of it" she sobs.
She tried to wipe her tears away when she felt a cloth dropping on top of her head. She quickly grabbed it and was confused when she heard a voice,
"14 is a positive integer so be positive"
Jihyun looked up to see the prodigy boy at the top of the stairs. "Oh my God!" she screamed in surprise. "H-How long were you in there?" she asked as the boy climbed down the stairs.
"Long enough to hear your rants" he replied. Jihyun was frozen in her place speechless. Namjoon walked towards the poor snack thrown away picking it up. "No littering remember?" Namjoon mumbled as he walked towards the trashcan at the rooftop.
He sighs, "I'm not really good with words but" -- he looked at Jihyun once more,
"14 is a positive integer so be positive" he repeats and walk towards the door leaving Jihyun alone.
Jihyun sat on the floor staring at the handkerchief,
"It's not that simple, prodigy boy."
