[2] A New Chance

It been about three months and I figured it out I'm a baby. It seems like I was reincarnated after getting hit by the truck. I wasn't to sure till I was carried up out of my cradle and caught a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror.

I still couldn't explain why I kept my memories from my old life but I guess it didn't really matter.

The people I met when I first opened my eyes where probably my parents they seemed pretty young about in there 20's and where living pretty comfortably.

We had a pretty big house and a quarters for the maids yes we had 3 maids I don't know much about them yet but they seemed alright the only thing that was off is one of them had cat ears.

Since I couldn't do much I used this time to learn about this new world I was now in.

It been about another 3 months and I was pretty good at crawling so occasionally I would stand up and try to walk.

Whenever I did that it would always attract attention from my mother who would rush over to stop me.

"He'll run somewhere else when I move my eyes away from him." my mother said

"Isn't it good that he's active? I was so worried when he didn't cry at all when he was born."

"Even now, he doesn't cry." my father said

My parents had this discussion when they saw me attempting to walk.

It made sense for them to be worried but I'm fine I just wish I could tell them.

"ooh ooh." no luck yet but even which such a weak attempt to speak it brought get joy to my

parents that praised me for it.

"well I'm off now, it's gonna be busy at the hero agency today" My dad said giving my mom a

goodbye kiss and fitting into his suit.

"have a great day." she said while still holding me in her arms and tickling my belly, which I was

enjoying a lot. From the conversations they had and me watching TV I had begone to understand that this was world was quite similar to my old one but it had undergone some change that gave people superpowers called quirks.

My beautiful mother Arisa Ryoku came from a preety decent background and use to be a support pro hero that could heal people in combat but retired with my birth.

While My father Gotou Ryoku is super strong and enjoyed battling up close and personal but also changed to a safer career path with my birth and opened a Hero Agency.

It was common in this world to get your quirk by the age of 4 so I would try to see if I could get it before then somehow because feel to vulnerable right now.
