Pastel x Magnus: A Thousand Words

It was an ordinary school day for Magnus.

It was the usual do this and do that from the teacher and the same old schedule where he had to listen to a bunch of nonsense from teachers who probably had no idea what they were teaching. Magnus was relieved that he was capable of learning new things by his own and he can ask help from his mom whenever he was having a hard time understanding a particular lesson.

Magnus sighed tiredly after the subject teacher left, he was somewhat glad that he heard the bell ring; alerting all the students that it was lunch time. Magnus grabbed his bag and took out his lunch box, he had to make his own lunch because Vermilion was really tired from a really busy day at work; he couldn't really blame her, he even happily made her breakfast before going to school by himself. He was sure to leave her a note before leaving.

A bunch of his friends went up to him, they were dragging their desks towards Magnus because why not. One of them was a dark colored unicorn with pastel purple mane, he groaned as he placed his desk near Magnus'.

"I can't believe Ms. Spectrum had to do an overtime again.." The colt said as the others nodded in agreement.

"How can you NOT believe? This is Ms. Spectrum we're talking about, she always spend WAY too much time explaining the a particular term rather than the whole lesson." Magnus complained, beginning to eat his sandwich while his friends just groaned.

"Hey Magnus! Pastel is calling for you."

Literally all of his classmates began to tease him when they heard Pastel's name. The colt blushed as he scoffed at his friends who were already doing smooching faces at him. He walked up to the door to find Pastel, her face was a bit flushed and it looked like she was carrying a small bag with her.

"Hey, Magnus!" She greeted him cheerfully. "I was wondering if you have the time to teach me how to draw some stuff? If you don't mind that is." Pastel laughed nervously.

He smiled at her. "Sure, I don't mind!" He replied before walking away with Pastel, forgetting the fact he was hungry. They do this drawing session whenever it was lunch or recess and Magnus find it surprisingly relaxing. As soon as they arrived in the library, Magnus began to teach Pastel all about anatomy and shapes since those were the things she was having a hard time to draw. It was okay at first before it spiraled into insanity since Pastel began to draw god knows what.

Magnus was losing his mind as he tried to find the solution to this 'conundrum' while Pastel was trying so hard to contain her laughter (and she was obviously failing). After a few hiccups here and there, the bell rang again; indicating that it was time to go back to class. Magnus sighed, guess he has to go back to classroom where he had to listen a bunch of rambling again.

"I had fun! Thanks for teaching me, Magnus." Pastel smiled as she placed all her coloring materials in her bag.

"No problem, maybe next time don't try to scribble the entire paper with a bunch of nothing so I don't assume that you're crazy." Magnus smirked as Pastel's face turned red and glared at him. 

"Well maaaybe you shouldn't be a bad teacher~!" She teased.

"Excuse me?!" He sputtered as Pastel giggled before quickly running out of the library. He sighed, she was such a weirdo. Magnus shook his head and glanced at the mess they made on the table, a bunch of paper were lying around everywhere. At some point, Pastel began to cut a bunch of paper and Magnus didn't have any idea what she was doing it for,

He looked at the pieces of paper that had a bunch of random colored doodles. After inspecting it closely, he realized that the edges would fit perfectly on the other pieces of paper. So he arranged them until he made one big picture. His eyes widened at it, his face instantly turned red when he saw that something on the corner of the picture.

'To: Magnus, hope this finally drills into your stupid skull'

The picture was a big colorful heart with flowers surrounding it.
