"Look! mom! a shooting star!" I said excitedly while waving my hands in the air like a crazy little girl I am.
"Ang ganda nila, hindi ba. Why don't you try and make a wish?" She looked at me smiling.
I wished and wished, I hope it comes true!
"So anong hiniling mo Sinteya?" My mom asked me curiously, teasing me.
"Mom! I wished that someday, I will not just find my own star! I'll find my whole damn galaxy too!" My mom eyed at me in anger. I dunno why though. I just wished something, didn't I? Is it a bad to wish?
"Where did you learn to curse young lady? For God's sake, you're just 8 years old!" I laughed at her and run onto my bedroom still giggling.
"I love you mom!" I shouted for her to hear and tucked myself to bed.
But little did I know, that wish will make my world turn upside down.
