Student&Student [a Jiley Fanfiction (The Sequel)]

These are all new to me

"Good morning baby" I woke up to Derek's voice. 

"Good morning" I replied. 

"Are u feeling better today?" 

"Yeah" 

"Good, because I have a football practice today and I want u to be there" 

"Oh cool, of course I'll be there" I said, he smiled. 

We wore our clothes and headed to college. Again, Derek held my hand and made our way in. All eyes were on us. But this time, I wasn't scared, I was walking in with my chin up. 

"Hey lexy" Derek said 

"Heyy" she replied. "Where were u all this time? I barely got to see u two these past 2 weeks" she continued 

"I was having some problems and Derek was helping me out" I said. 

"Well now that we're all here, do u guys wanna grab breakfast together?" Lexy asked. We agreed.  

DEMI'S POV: 

"Morning Miles" I greeted Miley. But I was shocked because she didn't reply, not even a look, she didn't even look at me! Well maybe she didn't hear me, I won't let bad ideas get into my head. 

MILEY'S POV: 

"So Lexy, ur coming to my football practice today too, right?" Derek asked. 

"Of course, I've been watching ur practices ever since 5th grade" Lexy replied. 

"U guys went to the same school?" I asked 

"Yeah, we've known each other for like 15 years, this is our 16th year of friendship" Derek replied. 

"Awwww, that's so sweet" I said. They smiled. "Well guys, first period will start in 10 mins, we should probably be going now" I continued and got up the table. Derek grabbed me by the elbow and sat me back down. 

"Chillax! So what if u missed first period? It's better if u just stay here and enjoy ur time!" Derek said. 

""so what?"? Derek, I'll ruin my almost perfect attendance record" I replied. 

"*cough* goodie two shoes *cough*" Lexy passed a sidebar. 

"Heeey! I heard that!" I replied. Derek laughed. 

"Relax Miles, ur in college now for fucking sake! just stay with us" He continued, I obeyed and sat down. 

After we finished, we headed to the football stadium. Lexy and I sat on the viewers' bench while Derek greeted the team. An hour passed. we were still watching the football practice. Ughh, 3rd period started, I gotta go now. I wanted to tell Derek that I wanna go but I saw him taking his shirt off cz he was sweating. On second thought, I can stay a few more hours, haha. He was killin' it there!  

The practice ended. Derek's team scored 2 and the other team 3. That's a bummer. I went to Derek, he was a little angry. I hugged him, 

"Oww, don't worry boo, it's just the practice, I know u'll do better at the final game" I said trying to cheer him up. 

"I knoww, it's just that I don't like losing, even if it was just a practice" he replied, also mad. 

"Cmon it's okai, cheer up. U'll win next time, and the time after that. I believe in u" 

"Thanks, that means a lot to me babe" He said and kissed me.  

"It's okai champ, u'll get them next time hun" Lexy also was cheering up. 

"I know bae" he said and hugged her.  

"Do u guys wanna go to my place now and maybe u can spend the night too?" she asked. 

"Yeah cmon let's go" Derek said. 

"But guys, it's still 3rd period, are u really gonna ditch college the whole day?" I asked. But before I could finish my sentence, Derek and Lexy looked at eaach other before he carried me on one shoulder and placed me in the backseat of his car. Lexy sat in the front seat next to him, while he was our ride to her house. I was unable to do anything, they were laughing at me. I felt like a nerd.  

They were playing songs so loudly in the car. A few minutes later, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, I took a look, It was Demi.  

"Umm guys, can u turn the volume down a little, I need to talk to the phone. It's Demi" I said. Lexy grabbed my phone, hung the phone up in Demi's face and threw it back into my lap. 

"Heey! That was rude! What was that for?" I asked. 

"U said it was Demi, she was obviously gonna ask u where are u and that u should show up to class and blah blah blah. We all know we're not going back, right?" 

"Well, I guess" 

"Good, now shake off that guilt feeling" she said, I smiled. 

At night, we went to a pub in town. It was the same pub where I saw Derek and the side hoes and spilled my drink all over him. I felt awkward now.  

"Derek, u remember what happened here?" I asked. He pouted his lip and shook his head as if saying that he doesn't. Well, cocain have that effect on people, it makes u lose some memories.  

We sat on a table.  

"Yo Tony, bring us 3 of the usual" Derek said to the bartender. 

"Coming right up" Tony replied. 

A few mintes later, the waiter came with 3 drinks, they had the color blue.  

"Have u ever tried these before?" Derek asked 

"Nope" I replied. 

"Well, try them now" he continued, So I did. It was kinda lemony with a minty taste and a little awful after-taste. "Eww, what's that horrible after-taste?" I asked. 

"It's the Vodka" He replied. 

"Ughh it's awful" I said, he laughed.  

It's midnight now, Derek and Lexy were telling jokes and laughing at the silliest stuff, so I immediately knew that they were drunk. It's a good thing that I didn't like the drink and I'm still fully awake. The atmosphere, the mood, the place... these are all new to me, but, I kinda like this new life..
